    but thanks for assuming ;)

I've not heard them yet but it has to better than Tim Robbins sitting in with the band three nights in a row right? If not we're all in trouble

ugh--two nights of them was PLENTY for me too...I just don't think they really added anything to the songs. they did look like they were having a lot of fun, which is cool...but then again, if I were on stage with Pearl Jam I'd be having fun too!!

Are you serious? That would be gay (no offense meant to homosexuals).
The day things go that route is the day I'm done following these tours.

    Completely serious and not gay.

It just has to be done right.

BTW, what is your 10C number?

Man, all this horns/strings/backup singer talk is going to give me nightmares ... Maybe someday PJ will do a Metallica-style orchestral show. Wouldn't that be badass? Heck, maybe Ed will do a duet with Celine Dion!

End of show- 3rd Encore: Baba O'Riley

please, please, please, please remember to PM JTR thanking him for relaying the show tonight- he rocked! He texted me a ton of info that I put up for us, which took a lot out of his time at the show.

    It's been fun!

I'm sure there's a few people there that are only in attendance because of business or something. Haha, I don't think they'd want PJ to play forever. Actually, in that case, they should leave, and PJ should play another set for those who choose to stay... :)

its all about the talent and what they add to the performance
when i saw the stones, i LOVED the backup singers

when the 5 are soo amazing, its tough to bring anything/one new to the mix that isn't at the same level

but as i've said many times, ed could rescite the phone book and i'd still come

Hate to be so down, and I get the intimacy factor, but I'm glad I didn't throw down the $600 it would have hit me to be at this show tonight. I mean, I've seen this show before.

    Semi-relief actually.

(besides Sleight, Harvest, and Undone of course)

I'll trade it in the day PJ turns into some kinda big-band act. I am not saying this will happen (I think the back-up singers is just them playing around a bit), but I'd lose interest in future tours if all these extra musicians/gimmicks were added. Speaking solely for myself, of course.
