If anyone has a Toolarmy presale they don't need for Vancouver , it would be much appreciated!

I've seen them twice and both times in the balcony. First time literally the furthest and highest seats possible in the arena. Was blown away by the lightshow from up there. Point is, I don't know if floor is even worth it for these guys? It's not like the band has a huge stage presence, in fact their stage presence is not good at all (maynard basically at the back of the stage). Their visuals and sound is what makes them killer live in my opinion. Maybe someone who has seen them in closer seats/GA can tell me otherwise?
So who has gone to the Gorge before? All the pics that I see is the front is full of seats that are on flat ground. Then there seems to be a VIP type section and then it goes to GA on the lawn. GA on the lawn is far away but has some really great backdrop views. The front seats are going to be a sea of people with little chance of seeing anything with someone taller in front of you. I am leaning to just doing GA in the lawn to at least see the light show. Am I crazy?
edit: I looked at more pics and it looks like the floor seats are on an incline. Still unsure which way to go with this one.

Do GA, and no you're not crazy! The visuals of Tool's show will be best viewed from the lawn. And make sure you get in before sunset. The view of the actual Columbia River Gorge backdrop is stunning. Wouldn't think twice bout GA tickets.
The farther away you are the better you will experience the visuals. In-close proximity to stage GA the lights go right over your heads. Vancouver being indoors will be best for the light show experience. I've seen TOOL at Red Rocks when they were just starting to use the light show and it was still phenomenal for an outdoor venue. Indoors you will appreciate the light show/stage visuals much more.
Regardless.... I'm going to Gorge!!!! I'm so fucking pumped!!!!

If you're talking about the Vancouver show, it's most certainly going to be reserved seating on the floor. Unless it's a festival, Tool doesn't really do GA pits anymore.

They did the last time they played here. Even though out of the seven times I have seen them that was the only GA floor.
Looks like they changed the description, cfox says reserved floor now.

All floor tickets for the Rosemont show are reserved seating. I believe Saint Paul will be the same.

Bangor is officially sold out as of this morning (or last night)
There were still GA lawn pairs available as of yesterday. (& a mysterious pair popped up in section 7 two days ago, and was gone an hour later...... go figure)
Consensus is the more expensive and closer seats are not worth it?
Who's doing the gorge? I'm debating vancouver or there.
I like having a good view of Danny Carey if at all possible, so I personally vouch for any seat in the house. You may not get the full light / laser effect if you're up close, but I don't mind missing that if I get a good view of the musicians.
With that being said, I'm pretty psyched with the two shows I have lined up. 11th row in Bangor, and then a festival show the next night. That will be the night I hang back & enjoy the lights etc........ best of both worlds IMO.
Good luck to anyone going for the next round of tickets.
