I'm guessing there's some small-print when buying the tickest about things "subject to change" which will stop a lawsuit dead in its tracks. Compare with Madonna being sued... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-68027965

In a rare fan friendly move... Tool's doing something on this tour we've been clamoring for around these parts for some time now... you can preorder the tour merch from their website, posters and all.

I'm not sure if the stock of posters will be numbered or signed. What I will say is there were a heap of the CDMX posters when I snagged my merch and there were hardly any people I saw with them. Of course I bolted after the gig ended so didn't check on the tent but I'd say they may be able to satisfy demand with the leftovers.Post edited by JT167846 onStars are suns to other people.

I'm curious as to why they're doing this now & wonder if this move is to get ahead of the bootlegs being sold on ebay... if so, that's more $ for the band (and possibly artist), a big W for the consumer, and a huge kick in the junk for the flippers... I love it.0 -
So they streamed a two camera pro shot video of Lollapalooza Argentina. Both cameras were from a distance so I'd say the band specified that condition. Looked great-and made me think I was closer to the front in CDMX than I thought.
Audio was very good-clear enough to see what parts Maynard needs help with backing tracks. Just the harmonies really-he does well. Adam messed up Pneuma but they got back on track.
Fun has started already though as all the links to see it are being taken down. It is frustrating as a fan to have zero official live releases on video. I get them wanting to try something like a hybrid of their videos/light show and their playing but like anything they do it seems coming to a consensus is almost impossible and communication about the most basic stuff seems to be neglected.Stars are suns to other people.

If I had to guess, it's more about having control over how their live shows are represented than it is about appearing mysterious or anything else.

It's on the internet, the files are circulating now. They can't really stamp it out. Maybe cease and desists on youtube, but on torrent sites and what not. Good luck. Both the Argentina and Brazil shows are circulating. The Brazil one is in 4k, both look pretty good.

Going to this tour next week. Are they doing 4 posters for every show I.E. one for each band, and one with all 3 bands? I haven’t been following too closely, but looks like there’s been some great designs and the set list looks really good.0

(And I kinda like the band member busts)I’m so glad I made the drive. A year was long enough that it felt fresh again. All 3 bands f’ing killed it (Hoffman’s awesome, I need to see a breakdown of that kit) and I have a new appreciation for Algorithm & Pablo’s Hippos after the show. Highlights were Groundhogs Day, & of course W&P, The Noose, The Outsider & Judith. I really hope APC & JF tour again down the road. They’re a different animal when he’s behind the kit.0
