How are we certain that it will be la 98?

There were screen shots taken of it yesterday. Apparently popped up in the 10c shop for a moment or two before they pulled it back down.

Wish it was a '98 show that didn't already have a great audience recording. Just because I know all the '98 shows were recorded. But oh well.

I am not super duper enthused about the choice of shows just because I really want something from the Riot Act era, which we haven't seen in a Vault yet, but the Vault series is awesome no matter what - I will never not order one. I guess I'll wait until at least July 1st to make sure I don't win one in the draw, lol.

Riot Act era would be ok, but I guess the problem is the '03 tour is mostly all available already. I think I would be disappointed if a Vault came out from one of the official bootlegs. That being said they never released the Seattle '02 shows, so one of those on Vinyl would be pretty sweet :)

Fair enough - I was actually very specifically hoping for Santa Barbara '03 to be honest, lol.
I don't want the vaults to be shows already released either.
Wasn't that vote for change tour or whatever around that time? 2004? No releases from that, are there?

Man i could do without the expense of this. I know we have a couple of months on this but Im always concerned that they will suddenly just pull it from the website so always order immediately. Looking through my records thinking what can I sell to raise some funds or what orders can I cancel.

Anything after 2000 will probably be at least a 4LP set. My worry with that is cost. Pretty sure they'd charge more than $50 at that point.

But id pay $100 for SPECTRUM 2003....

Yeah, I get tired of the whole "it's been released before" and "there's been a quality audience recording available for years" arguments. NOT ON VINYL!!

This is absolutely fantastic. 7/13 was an amazing show. The next night was the first time I ever got front row from the 10C (tickets arrived in the mail and I was like holy crap) but 7/13 was the better show. Tickets were impossible as this was the first PJ show in LA in six years. I got a single ticket first section in front of the stage, front row at the box office the afternoon of the show.

Thrilled this is the next archive release!

Thanks both of you. Also, have all the vault vinyls been 50$? It seems a little steep to me especially considering Yield and No Code were 25 and 20 bucks each. Anything particularly worthwhile about these vaults that justify the price? Or do they just know many people will buy them regardless?

It's three records vs one, to start. The packaging is also first rate as well, like a thick gatefold and extra size.
