"And that concludes Vitalogy..."

So where, if anywhere, gets Vitalogy front to back? As a ticketholder for both Fenway shows, I would love to see it happen there, but I kinda doubt they do it at any of the stadium shows, or festival shows for that matter.

I was shocked that they played Binaural over Vitalogy last night (assuming they were going to play a full album in the first place). I'd be even more surprised if they played Vitalogy at N2.

I think Vitalogy would be okay for a ball park show - it has a good mix of hits and deep cuts that should please the majority of fans.

This is the one I want to be at the most out of any album. Doubt we will get it this year now though.

My favorite album ever. I'm going to be super jealous when I miss this. Unless it's played at Fenway by I doubt it.

Vitalogy rocks pretty hard front to back (mostly, excluding a few quiet songs and creative trackers). It's the last of the big 5, so maybe one of the Wrigley shows?

I'm not too sure how a later album would get received if they played it front to back.. ie backspacer or lightning bolt. Maybe they're saving vitalogy for a special occasion.

I could be very, very happy with Vitalogy at Wrigley 1! I was lucky enough to get full Vs in Greenville as well and was actually surprised at how special the full album feels when you there live to experience it.

Yeah. Avocado at one and Vitalogy at the other... Don't see them playing Riot Act at these shows. Going to be too many new/casual fans.

I bet they save the rest if there is gonna be a Fall tour. I think the rest of the dates are festivals and the Stadium shows. Far too big or mainstream to just play an album straight through. But I guess you never know.

Its going to be one of the 2nd shows if it happens I believe as more casual fans will be at the non work night shows

I'm 100% convinced they planned on playing Vitalogy at Philly 2... then they saw the banner and decided to go with Ten instead...

They didn't play any Vitalogy at Philly 1 and played a bunch of songs off of Ten including the master/slave intro into Once... all this has me thinking they changed that day from Vitalogy to Ten.... I am 100% confident of this

I think vitalogy is gonna be tough for them. They're probably trying to figure out the bizarro tracks and how they will be incorporated or performed in the set. I do think they intend on doing it. My guess is they will break it out at Wrigley if at all on this tour. And i will not be there.

    Makes sense to me

On paper I'd be upset with the change, but now that it happened I wouldn't change a if about 4/29

No one buys records anymore....play what you want

casual fans who were dragged there or went to the show so they can say the saw the mightyPEARL JAM.....tap out ( sit down, text all fuckin night)after the 1st 2-3 songs until Even Flow , Betterman, Black, or Alive come on....even if they play it safe these people aren't probably gonna come ever again, some might

Get weird, you got their cash $$$ :)

What is the ratio between avid/casual fans? When I go to shows out here in the West it seems most everybody knows all the songs (although I tend to be surrounded by 10c members, I swear the whole venue knows the song). I thought PJ's big thing was they have a smaller but more ravenous fan base. That's why they can play 3.5 hours and pull from anything they've ever recorded. If we had a casual fan base it'd be like a foo fighters or metallica show where they're stuck spending 85% of the setlist playing their most famous songs. PJ's crazy ravenous fan base is why they can change it up every night (allthough that sounds like a chicken/egg issue. do they have the ravenous fan base because they've always change it up, or do they change it up because of the revenous fan base)...

id say 70% attendees are aware of 1/2 of no code

That's the litmus test for me...most so called fans jumped ship then

If you can name 6 songs off no code( you lean more avid).....lotta casual fans only know

It is going to be really hard to play all the tracks front to back, I could see them doing Aye Davanita, that would likely take more than just a soundcheck. Pry, to & HEY FOXYMOPHANDLEMAMA, THAT'S ME probably would have to be played over the PA either before the show, or between the first set and first encore, so it would be like Yield, not exactly front to back, but trying to figure out exactly the right way to do it is why it has yet to happen. I am sure when Ed looks at the track list, thinks to himself what the fuck was I thinking putting those sonic experiments on there? That must have been some really good shit?

just figuring out how they want to format, is the only reason they haven't done it yet, also I think they are like, do we really want to play this fucking song? Besides all the casual fans, will be like what the hell happened to Pearl Jam? And if you skip 3 tracks, is it really a full album?

    Last Exit
    Spin The Black Circle
    Not For You
    Tremor Christ
    Nothingman
    Whipping
    Pry, To
    Corduroy
    Bugs
    Satan's Bed
    Better Man
    Aye Davanita
    Immortality
    Hey Foxymophandlemama, That's Me

so you take those 3 out, it's 11 songs, and I love ending it with Immortality, maybe Ed can make a joke about the sonic experiments after they are done with Bugs

Aye Davanita would be the walk out song and Stupid Mop would be the show end PA song. I could see them trying Pry To.

I see a lot of faithful fans out here expecting something to be announced this year outside of what is already in place. I thought it was already confirmed by the band members there is nothing to come after Wrigley. Didn't they confirm going back in to the studio for new album work afterwards?

I think Last Exit works as an opener, so just have those as the first 11 songs of the set
So this as an opening set:

    Last Exit
    Spin The Black Circle
    Not For You
    Tremor Christ
    Nothingman
    Whipping
    Corduroy
    Bugs
    Satan's Bed
    Better Man
    Immortality
    Oceans
    Daughter
    In My Tree
    Given To Fly
    Severed Hand
    Lightning Bolt
    Mind Your Manners
    Garden
    Rearviewmirror

    just a thought..............
