Interesting.  Ed's last solo show that is on the books now is Sept 24th.

They would have to announce soon.  I think this is just click bait.  Not gonna happen.

All that says is PJ is at the top of their list. I'm sure there are a lot of different things that have PJ on top of their list to perform at their event. Nothing of substance in that article.

Mike said yesterday on Jim Norton and Sam Roberts interview there are no current plans for shows. He mentioned Ed being on tour now and that was it.

PJ is at the top of my list to play at my wedding. Does this mean that they will be there?

Most likely scenario is more EV dates between Ohana and Pilgrimage, and that might close out the year. If Mike says there are no PJ shows currently planned, I'd take that as gospel.

2014 was the first time I was really able to follow PJ on multiple consecutive dates. I was shocked to see people leaving for Yellow Led, Baba, or RITFW. I get that people may have seen those songs many many times, and I'm not judging those people, but I would never leave a PJ show early. There's so much down time now between tours (where I spend countless hours in threads like this hoping/wishing for more shows) that any chance to see even one more song is (to me) so precious. I just don't get the impulse to try and save a few more minutes by "beating the crowd" out of the building.
I've left a pj show during the last song several times in order to avoid traffic.
Yeah, I don't think you can criticize that.  Especially at the aforementioned venue in Mansfield.  Literally, depending on where you park, you sit in the lot for a minimum 2 hours.  After tailgating for 3-4 hours and rocking out for another 3hrs, that's the last thing you want to do.  We started to pony up for the VIP parking after a few episodes of that.
I've left msg a few times in order to catch a train back  home.  Nothing like missing your train by two minutes and then sitting in penn for the next hour.
I hate that... and then an hour and a half ride back to Long Branch.  I drive now... I can stay until the end of the show and it's barely more than an hour ride home.

I think if there was going to be more Ed US shows, we would have heard about them by now.  Rumors at least.

I think this is it. Those shows are only 3 months away.

I send my love out, wish everyone the best, be good to one another, and have safe travels.

I hope Ed adds more solo dates or else I will be heading to KY for the festival appearance.

Mike said on Jim Norton's radio show that they won't be touring anytime soon. He's currently working on the the score for a movie and Ed is touring for the summer. Best bet is a few scattered Eddie tour dates in the U.S. My guess is they recuperate and get ready for a big tour in 2018.

Food for thought: Pj has never gone a calendar year in their history without playing some shows. And hof doesn't count as a show in my book. We ll get something eventually.

You're probably right... I hadn't thought about the festivals being roughly 3 months out. Typically shows are announced at least 4ish months in advance. It just seems odd to do Ohana, have the majority of September off, and then play 2 other festivals later in the month. Although, I suppose it makes sense not to compete with his own festival.

In EV Euro tour there are some tshirts with all Euro dates and three US dates already announced. This may hint there are no other US dates considered ?

Pearl Jam would never fly all the way to Australia just to play  3 - 4 songs at a dumb football grand final, and aren't they supposed to be on hiatus this year?

A Facebook friend of mine knows someone whose brother has a top position in Ticketmaster and he said that they are booked in for an Australia tour in 2018. :)

If this is true, maybe they kick things off with a few west coast US shows in Nov/Dec before heading to Australia.

I doubt it will be early 2018.  They are on hiatus this year and need time to do another album.  PJ only tour here when there is a new album out.  They also like to come here when it's Summer .. so I predict November / December 2018.
