Ya know, it's kinda funny.  When this album first came out, it wasn't an instant classic for me like every PJ album before it. I was actually kind of disappointed in it at first.  But upon further and further listening, within a couple months I finally came around to it.  Today, it's probably my favorite post-Binaural album. (Though I still don't quite get why everyone goes apeshit for Marker in the Sand).

Happy birthday, eponymous Pearl Jam album!

Very meaningful album to me....I saw 6 shows on that tour, including the intimate show in L.A. at the Fonda Theatre.  I also ran into my future wife at a few of the shows!

When your favourite two bands release albums on the same day it's a pretty good one-happy birthday 10000 Days as well.

Happy birthday! Absolutely love this album. Those first 5 rockers, and those last two closers! Amazing. Inside Job is probably my favorite PJ song.

It may also be the album I go to the most. It is definitely my favorite album post Yield.

Avocado without a doubt is the last album I’ve truly enjoyed! All the rest that have followed have fallen by the wayside..

I agree, but thought you were talking about Stadium Arcadium.

2nd fav pj album behind yield. Going to spin this beauty tonight. I played it nonstop thru college and went to like 8 or 10 shows in 06, great times.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?
