Anyone know what was on the baseball cap Ed briefly wore during Porch? The closer I zoom in, the less it looks like a Cubs logo...?

"Smozilla" It was a cubs hat. I think it had like a 2015 NLCS logo on the side. The guy i was standing with in line and at the show was the one that handed it to him.

Man, I was listening to the 2003 Mansfield bootleg (Disc 1 - Acoustic Set) and It got me thinking so I looked back at the 1st encore from Columbia. That was amazing, so many great songs that were on my list. Hell of a night!

20th show for me, visiting from Australia. There was a more upbeat atmosphere pre-show compared to Hampton.

Highlights were many and included the Binaural duo of Light Years and Sleight, Marker, I Got ID and an Oceans opener for my first time.

Best part for me was Chloe/Crown. Awesome!

Did you have Raleigh tickets too? That would suck to come all that way and have one of your shows cancelled. I only flew 500 miles but it still sucked.

Na didn't have Raleigh tickets. I had to choose 2 out of Hampton, Raleigh and Columbia so I chose wisely!

Just wondering why this is the only show of the tour that followed the 13-14 format, setlist wise

Yup, no REM, pendulumorphisis, lights out, 2 slow songs to start...pretty cool change up out of nowhere...who knows why?

I originally thought the slow start was because it was going to be a long nite to make up for Raleigh...now, I'm pretty sure it was the mood they were in with Prince passing, and the whole Raleigh debacle.

3 slow songs to start. A more substantial acoustic part of the show after the first encore...

I enjoyed the Columbia show, and thought it was a great main set with at least six songs that are not played enough (Oceans, Marker in the Sand, Immortality, I Got Shit, Light Years, Infallible, Low Light).

Everyone is raving about the S.C. shows. Eddie knew I had been wanting to see them for 25 years and it was all for me, he told me so. hahhahaahha I wish. I just hit the lottery after waiting sooooo long to see these guys. I won't try to describe the experience, as I just don't have the words. So glad I bought tix to both shows, and I won't say I liked Greenville or Columbia better. They were different experiences and it feels like an apples/oranges comparison. The Greenville setlist was certainly exquisite though, just like the energy in Columbia was exquisite. It's all about the experience, how you are personally affected by seeing this group of people pour out their passion for everyone to revel in I think. Just an opinion, but I watched it on bootlegs for the last 25 years, and was still blown away to finally be IN the audience. Keep On Rocking indeed!
after 25 year wait: Greenville april 16th, 2016 and Columbia, SC on 21st. thanks for the memories PJ

Just found this one from Columbia...one of the drawbacks to digi photography is that shizzy gets overlooked.

    image

Crazy, I have a shot from Hampton that is pretty close to the same moment, just a different angle.

    image

If I was into retouching (I'm not...) I'd get rid of those EXIT signs

That's really cool how similar those are from different shows, capturing those moments in flight.

I went to 2 shows in SC in 5 days, and I witnessed two different bands and two great shows. The only predictable stuff I'd say is stuff the crowd expects from EV, and he gives it. So yeah, you can count on certain things happening at every show. Besides, when someone is into a song, I don't think they really think about their body position when they jump and hit a note or end a song. I'm a fan since day 1, just not been able to see them live in person till now, and I could not have predicted anything I saw or felt at either show. I was blown away. I bought the bootlegs today and am just now processing exactly what I experienced on those nights. Thank you Pearl Jam for releasing quality bootlegs!!! I can get blown away repeatedly by new memories popping up from listening to the bootlegs... can't thank you enough for that, it completes the experience for me.

I'm not trying to take anything away from you, just saying there are different viewpoints out there, and I own one of them :) peace
