Wow, cool! I love Missoula, we go there all the time because they get all the good music. We're just 3 hrs. down the road in Bozeman. I'll shoot you a PM, we'd love to hook up with a NY local who shares the love for our home state!ladydocNYC said:
A warm welcome to you folks from Montana. I'm a die hard New Yorker but I got married near Missoula. Montana is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! Let me know if you want to grab a beer!apkirkland said:Fuck yes. We're coming from Montana, arriving this Sunday and making a whole week of it. Only been to NYC once, never thought I'd get to see Pearl Jam at MSG. And during burger week, oh my!

I'm in full anxiety mode for the rest of the week. Good anxiety. Like a kid before Christmas. I can't wait until the lights go down Sunday.

Solo from Colorado.... First time in NYC. Can't wait. GA for both shows. It's going to be EPIC!0

I would suggest going down to the Village and wandering around. There will be some music and some a-fucking-mazing Italian food to be had. Midtown is played out and you will be around plenty the concert nights.SPEEDY MCCREADY said:
I am very curious to see where my Saturday night leads me. Again we are staying right across from MSG. After a day of checking out some "tourist sights", I am curious to see where I end up. Local joints? Hotel bar? Times Square?F Me In The Brain said:

No doubt, I will be taking a sandwich for the road. Im thinking Saturday at about 4am, after an evening of drunken nonsense, that sandwich is going to be quite tasty!F Me In The Brain said:FUCK YEAH!!!
Speedy get the pastrami brother! You cannot eat all 3. If your hotel has a fridge you can but those suckers are big sandwiches.
2 in Philly, 2 in NY...no work in between. So very nice!
So hard
Should be interesting.
Hotel bar....are you staying at the New Yorker? (You said you were right across the street) They swapped out Cooper's Tavern, which was the bar there forever...and they made it "brighter" --- which was not a good move. Still not a bad place to pound booze but wander down to Mustang Sally's or one of the other older places around there -- Jack Dempsey's? for drinks vs. staying in the hotel bar. I loved old Cooper's was a great place to get wrecked.
Best news is the subway is right there and you can easily get most anywhere in the city.

I'm real excited
I'm off Thursday Thru Tuesday
Doing Philly then back home for both MSG's. So happy I took off following these shows, sucks rushing back after a show to get to sleep @ a decent hour. Now I'm chillin and enjoying the fun built around the actual show.
They will tear the roof off!!0 -
Thanks for the advice. I get in early Saturday afternoon and was wondering what to do Saturday evening. The Village it is!F Me In The Brain said:

Go to Lombardi's for some great pizza down on Spring street. If you're in the mood for some good greasy southern food, Jacobs Pickels on 84 and Amsterdam is a good spot but it gets crazy on the weekends around lunch time.NYPJ0
