  • Also imo a highly overlooked performance of Man of the Hour

My first show with 10c seats. I was already planning on being there for Petty, so we extended our trip and took in both nights. McCready played an electric most of the time, just real mellow and dialed down.....it was such a nice mix, beautiful. The back and forth between him and Boom on Crazy Mary was awesome. Mike had to finally let loose on a solo, he couldn't hold back any longer

  • Low Light then Man of the Hour...in 2016 that would just be incredible to open up an encore. And Black into Hard to Imagine, wow.

Was at all 3 shows as well. They were epic. 2006 was hot as hell, and I jumped into an air conditioned car and went on an impromptu Red Mountain winery tour so I could hang out in air conditioned tasting rooms drinking wine in the sweltering 116 degree heat. Would love to see PJ back at the Gorge. Hopefully this year! Hopefully some of the band members can remember where they got their start and throw a bone to their hometown on their 25th anniversary.
