I think Trieste was only 5. No Boom. But the Mexico City poster had Boom.

I just checked out the website, the bonus prints I actually really like, more than the regular poster. So how much were the standards s/n & the variants/bonus packages... I'm guessing Transformers prices $200-250?

That sperry is a big print, but my fav so far this tour. It's awesome in person.

Have to agree. It pops out so much more in person. Doesn't hurt I was at the show either.

I was lucky and scored the standard AP. The bonus prints are pretty cool though...

    Unfortunately, its a speculative process.

I remember with Pittsburgh '13 I pulled the trigger for a S/N the day they went on sale for $199 +$10 S/H.

Munk One sold his S/N Pittsburgh '13 prints for $80.

Don't you think that it would have been better to have the bonus prints be Wanted ads for each of the guys individually? Seems like a real opportunity to make some really fun collectibles. The actual bonus prints don't make any sense to me, never seen or want to own a Russian language movie poster, etc.

A sturdy poster tube costs $3.00 and USPS Priority mail costs up to $12.40 depending on zip code.
Poster tubes can be had for under $1 each. http://m.uline.com/h5/r/www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S-2643/Tubes/Kraft-Mailing-Tubes-with-End-Caps-3-x-24-070-thick

Of course, I'm sure Ames also packs with a sheet of Kraft paper too...so add $0.25.

Ames Bros are rolling in piles of money laughing at all the PJ fans buying up their overpriced variant and such. It's just gonna keep getting worse when they see them all sold out in minutes.

I thought the high prices of the variants were to deter the flippers, but I think it may have backfired....

the high prices are to make more money, it has nothing to do with stopping flippers... they are a business and don't care 1 second about flipping... as a matter of fact flipping helps their business and they know it, as does the 10c

Ames uses quality tubes similar to the S-14048 which are 3" in diameter with a 125" thick wall.
They cost $2.45 each plus tax if they buy 50 or as cheap as $2.13 plus tax if they buy 1,000 tubes at a time.
So Ames' cost is closer to $2.50 each than $1.00.
Oh yeah, plus the cost of kraft paper.

My last Ames poster was shipped in a thick corrugated piece of plastic pipe, not a cardboard tube.

You are correct sir - I must've been thinking about Sperry and Emek.
Ames' custom 4" diameter plastic tubes probably cost way more than $3.00 each.
    Thank you for your correction.

40? That must be some sort of record. How many are serial numbered rather than show editions?

The fucking PJ vs Ames collage posters they wrinkled them up getting them in the tube and didn't put kraft paper. Transformers didn't even have end caps just tape. I don't think they're worried about cutting corners. Sounds like the collage posters were a disaster from everyone who ordered them and they blamed it on pre-Christmas hired help. Good thing they were only $35 and not $225 lol.
