    It's not funny.

But you do think he is a benign joke though right?
Who is the resident trollmonkey? I think trump is very funny.
    Feel the Trump.
He is a joke, but he is not benign.
You think he is not harmful in effect? I know what you are trying to say but a lot of people think he is a harmless joke of a runner.

Like a bad hemorrhoid removal. Which is what we might want to do with a certain presidential candidate. But I jest. The voters will see to that.

Hillary is not a viable option. In fact that alternative is downright awful...

Sorry, but the minute Trump hesitated on David Duke with a hint and a nod, that was enough to become a benign joke to people with any sort of morality.

She's not my first choice, that's for sure, but if she does get in it will be "business as usual".

And this is what Trump no longer stands for. If she wants to talk business all ears are his.

He's a PJ fan as well. I wouldn't vote him over Bernie but I wouldn't threaten to leave for Canada like with Cruz and Donald Cheney if he got elected.

I don't know all that much about Kasich other than that he is weak on environmental issues and that alone give me reason to doubt I could support him.

What do you guys like about him?

It's not so much like him but don't hate him to the point I want to leave the country and that he's left of Hitler and doesn't act like he's on Jerry Springer.

He comes across as an adult which suddenly legitimately counts for something in this cycle. He stayed out of and above the Trump/Cruz/Rubio pillow fight. But some of the policy things he talked about were big negatives. Remember feeling that he would have us at war with Russia in his first hundred days.

I also dislike Drumpf. Seeing him waving his finger and yapping with that mouth makes me angry. I also dislike that everybody talks as if Hillary already has the nomination. She has not. Bernie is still getting great support, the media just does not report it like with the other candidates.

Trump specifically aside, I get the sentiments of the OP, of the desire for a break from the political norm.

*edit - by political norm, referring to how campaigns and its puppets are run.

This country needs a moderate - Trump is the polar opposite of Clinton, plus he has no actual plan for anything. He just shoots his mouth and people think he should be president. He won't be elected. The turnout will be historic and his 'people' are a fraction of the overall population. Youth vote will see to it a Dem is in the WH again - which isn't really what our country needs. Just like the Supreme Court, that has to be a balance. Can't have one side having all their agenda items met. Not what our country was founded on. OP, a vote for Trump is your decision - if you respect his 'anti-establishment' ways bare in mind that's all the substance he has. When it comes time to deal, he won't have a clue on what to do next.
What policies would be moderate to you, and why do we need a moderate? Just curious, because moderate to one person can be left or right to another.

And for those who want someone outside the norm for president, why not be drawn to Sanders way more than Trump? I know he's been a politician forever (which actually means he know how legislation works beyond Trump's 8th grade civics level), but when Sanders asks why no criminal charges for Goldman Sachs when they're paying a $5 billion fine, isn't that an outsider? Did Trump say anything about that?

You must have missed the several posts where that information has been offered. Maybe scan through the 35 Trump threads. There there.

Is there any candidate that fits every bill people here find important and imperative? I have yet to find one. People seem to go with what's important to them as they should...and, again, sadly must apply the silly disclaimer that this isn't Trump-specific but fits here as well as any other thread of those in this clusterfuck of a "race".

And B, the rancid bickering has been going on for quite a while now (and shall continue, I'm sure!). Most here have taken part in some form, whether realized or not. Pretty sure I've done so myself. Conversely, many have made valiant attempts to discuss with respect. Always appreciated from here.

Although I do get the need to take a breather.
