Wondering if this has anything to do with bankruptcy? Trustee takes over and calls all shots.

Again this could have to do with bankruptcy, can anyone confirm? If bankruptcy all disbursements are handled by US trustee.

Not bankruptcy....this was related to building the casino. He drove it into bankruptcy a few years later.

Bankruptcy laws are a tricky subject, those ads could be true but also misleading. We know that part of trumps business model is to file bankrupt to escape creditors, immoral but not illegal.
If you're interested in bankruptcy laws, you can learn allot from the bankruptcy law changes that were made while the gentleman from Delaware is was VP.

Okay, just throwing it out there and asking. I don't know the specifics or the timing of payments vs bankruptcy filing.

No idea how much he made but a judge decides if the filing is warranted. I'm guessing he owed more than he made.
If he didn't hold his text returns hostage maybe we could get some insight.

    Godfather.

interesting. so HC is a murderer and a liar without any proof but you don't care.
DT is fine because he wasn't arrested or convicted.

    hypocrite much?
in GF defense with the evidence shown during the FBI hearings any "normal" person would have been prosecuted to the fullest extent, but since it was HC and the strings she pulls, the foundation, and the number of mysterious deaths surrounding her she has gotten away with murder...literally

I've already laid out a plan for him to paint Hilliary as a salesperson or a taker. Anyone can forward it or immoral illegal to his campaign if they wish. My advice and comments are free.

What a businessman like Trump would likely do is extract as much equity out of the business as possible by leveraging it with debt, then you file BK. That's a whole different conversation than the bankruptcy reform from 2007, which I believe is your reference.

Many people are saying that Trump can't get credit from US banks because of this strategy. He is now going to Russia for his loans. I don't know if it's true, but many people are saying this.

I'm a structural engineer and started with 50K, which sounded great, until I realized that the people at my firm who had been there 15 years more than me were being paid only a bit more. I work in a different field now, took a steep pay cut to start out in it, but am finding more gratification in my job than I did as an engineer. For what it's worth, my university degree may have helped me get the job, but I'm not sure it contributed much to the salary.

It's better to be happy then to be wealthy. It's very courageous and noble to leave a job in your field/trade with hopes of trading wealth for happiness and fulfillment.
Although I get a sense of therapeutic camaraderie from these boards I certainly do not want my comments and advice to impede anyone's happiness. It couldn't be more incongruent, as such this will be my last post on AMT.
