I like the second single...very Ian Brown sounding. All for One is starting to grow on me too so I am optomistic for future releases. Of course I ordered the vinyl. I hope they release an album soon....I don't think I can afford to pay for 12 singles!

Wow....that MSG show was definitely one for the books. Easily one of the greatest shows I have ever been to. The band was put on such a fantastic show and Ian's vocals were so on point. I can't even put into words how well they preformed, they definitely caught lightning at that show.

    Full show(videos) for those interested - http://www.thestoneroses.co/stone-roses-take-new-york-storm-full-gig/

Saw them last night at T In The Park festival. Awesome, loved every minute. Thought about travelling to the MSG show as it was the only major indoor show announced, apart from the warm up shows. Hoping for a proper tour and new album in the autumn,,, well you never know.
Anyway last night, love watching John Squire, just a great guitarist. Mani's driving bass powers on Ian Brown owns the stage,,,,,,but Reni on drums, what a fucking drummer. They should have one screen just showing him, just makes it all look easy. Definitely one of the best around, Years ago Pete Townsend said he was the most natural drummer he had seen since Keith Moon and wanted him for his solo album. You really have to watch this guy drum. For a band that only made two albums, they are indeed something special.
If they do tour again, fingers crossed, go see them you will not be disappointed.
They sing I Am The Resurrection, their not fucking joking.......

I love hearing about the shows I didn't attend. I was so happy to finally see them I can't even put it into words. It was definitely one of the greatest live shows I have ever attended. Fingers crossed they keep on top of this new wave they are riding with the great tunes and excellent live performances. They mentioned returning to MSG

Such a great band - they didn't get enough attention in the 80s and 90s over here.

Funny story...at college circa 89. I had just started dating this girl I had my eye on for a few months. I head over to her dorm and the conversation goes something like this...
Me: I just picked up the new Stone Roses album (on cassette of course) and it's f'ing awesome!
Her: You did, I love that band so much!
Me: You do? This is great, I wasn't sure anyone besides me even knew about them.
Her: Yeah, I love that song that they play on the radio all the time.
Me: (with suspicion) I Wanna be Adored?
    Her: What?
Me: The song....I Wanna be Adored.
Her: No, the one about the jungle....Welcome to the Jungle right?
Me : That's Guns & Roses you idiot!
Needless to say, that was the end of that.

Yeah, for sure. Looking back on it I always felt bad because I was pretty harsh on her. It's not like she was the only person to never hear of them at the time. But, I was only 18 and still had a lot to learn about relationships(and women). Come to think of it...I'm still learning!
