    i would improve the republican party by letting it splinter into the multiple factions that compose it right now. there is no way that it can unite into anything viable at this point.

    It's already that way, they just don't to face reality... and reality has not been a Republican strong suit in the past several decades.

    I think with the advent of the Tea Party...the GOP effectively died. The party will never be united if there are Republicans that aren't conservative enough for the far-right. You hear far-right commentators (the Dana Loesch types) talking all the time about how "Trump isn't a real conservative!" as if he's fooling moderate Republicans. Actually, moderate Republicans know that he's not a "real conservative" and that's what they might like about him.

    I said long ago a Republican will win this election. Keeping it simple.....it's simply *their turn* to unscrew the current politricks and make things worse for the next election. Then petition for re-election in order to make their politricks seem better.

    It's ALL a decoy of perception None of them (politicians) really care about the people, they ALL only care about having the power the offices provide.

    My advice for the Republican Party is to put conservation back into the idea of conservative and became the party that focuses on just that- conserving. Once that happens, people will start to see that the opposite, over-consumption, is in the long run both unsatisfying and self-defeating.

    I know, you're thinking that will never happen. Well, I'm here to tell you it will because it has to. We either do it willingly and voluntarily, or the boundaries of nature and the basic irrefutable laws of ecology will do it for us. Wouldn't it be a kick if the Republican Party decided to start moving in that direction!
