No complaints about how they handled the merch in 2013...
Sold merchandise at various locations dayS before the show, and day of the show. At one point, merchandise was available at 3 different locations outside the park. Merchandise available at various locations inside Wrigley Field. Merchandise for sale at the hotel for travel package folks. Posters were sold later on the website.

I know that heat, long lines, and scalpers suck, but those things are difficult to avoid.

You must not have waited in said long lines the days before the show for 4-6 hours, only to find out the last poster just sold out since everyone in front of you could buy 8 at a time. From a fan perspective they mishandled the merch in 2013 at Wrigley, from a band perspective they did their job. PreSale for the members that won tickets is my vote.

I have no objections to a presale. I have no objections to limiting merch (which they did with some things, when crazy demand became apparent). I did indeed wait in said long lines.

Flippers gonna flip. If vendors limit merchandise purchases, flippers will show up with more people to buy for them. Unfortunately, there are flippers with 10c memberships also.

No complaints? Some booths were stocked with items other booths were never stocked with. 10c had no idea what they were issuing to any of the merch trucks outside the venue.

No complaints. That experience is typical to a lot of merch booths for concerts and events. Some booths have merchandise that others do not... it happens. I think it was probably less about Pearl Jam's merchandise team having "no idea" what they were issuing to any of the trucks, and more about insane demand.

If I could pre order my merch for Wrigley that would make the experience so much better. Esecially the posters. I really don't care if I didn't know the designs, I trust that I'd like them and wound still buy them. I loved all 3 for 2013.
