Cubs play Wrigley the 18th...so merch not on-sale until the 19th?

So...just one day of pre-sales??

  • Also means on the 18th Ed will most likely sing the stretch...
  • I wouldn't be surprised if they do a pop up for the weekend, like Foo Fighters did at Block 37. Only time will tell..

Literally no one knows how they will handle the Merch for this yet. And probably not until a week or so before the show.
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...

There have been trucks outside venues for every show I've seen since Wrigley. I'm sure it will be the same. Now when they start selling is the question.

Would be so awesome to have a fan club preorder for merch. I know i would spend a lot and then enjoy less stress at the park!

no - what would be totally fun would be let everyone get stressed at the park - and do a post-show sale and offer everything to who wants it :)

Shouldnt sell merch for these. Keep it on the music. Even tho theyd lose tens of thousands of $$$

I know there is concern they would sell less through a preorder but I personally would buy more. And pay exorbitant shipping!!

Whatever they do, they need to do it better than last time.

They could also offer limited items for the presale. Poster, shirt, etc. and have baseball cards, flags, pins, stickers, toilet seat covers, socks, etc. at the show.

If they were to offer a preorder tonight for setlist shirts - to be printed up after the shows - I would buy both Fenway shirts tonight. Keep my money till August.

No complaints about how they handled the merch in 2013...
Sold merchandise at various locations dayS before the show, and day of the show. At one point, merchandise was available at 3 different locations outside the park. Merchandise available at various locations inside Wrigley Field. Merchandise for sale at the hotel for travel package folks. Posters were sold later on the website.

I know that heat, long lines, and scalpers suck, but those things are difficult to avoid.
