    LMFAO!

    "Streetwise, get your Streetwise!"

    "No Thanks."

"Okay, maybe on the way out then."

I felt bad and bought one once and I realized there was nothing worth reading in it, so I haven't since. I'm going to hell. :p

Fucking ridiculous. Yet, I think it's a good thing that I'm smart enough to go to work tomorrow. I was gonna call in sick so I could get there early to beg for tickets, but it just ain't worth it. Not if I stand there for 8 hours and STILL come up empty handed in the end.

If that's true, that's just sad and scary at the same time. I know at the Borgata people started lining up at 6 am, but that was indoors and air conditioned. There is no way I'd wait out all night, sleep on the street, and then deal with the heat and sun all day. I hope the overnighters are wearing 24 hour deodorant. ;)

I got to the Borgata both days around 1 or so and still got on the rail both nights in front of Mike. But at least that line was pleasant because I didn't have to deal with the conditions.

I'm flying in tomorrow around 11 and don't expect to get in line until 4 or 5 at the earliest. See you all in Chicago tomorrow.

And if you knew the area where the VIC is you would be surprised people were waiting........ IT IS COMPLETELY SAFE..........but there are a lot of late night bars, cross dressers, punks, drunks and everything in between. I work about 3 blocks away and get off sometimes at 3AM and at the corner by the VIC there is always cross dressing prostitutes trying to flag cars down, there is a 4Am gay bar on the corner.

Anyways it is safe and I guess would be entertaining but that is a long time to be there cuz they got all day tomorrow.

A few of my friends are there and they are 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th and 9th and one of them are doing the list. At about 11.30pm there were about 30 people.

I wouldn't expect more to come until early, early morning but who knows.

From one of the list keepers; There is a list with a duplicate, for all people who have tickets, with 14 people on it as of an hour ago (28 as pairs). No one is allowed to wait, says the General Manager of the Vic, until later Thursday morning and they are ready to sic the cops on people who do...

Gonna get there around 9am and see what's up :)

Reminds me of the 360 launch at my local Best Buy 2 years ago... property manager wouldn't let people line up until 5am for the 9am opening. Cops patrolled the parking lot while people waited in their cars. :)

I'd do it if I was there. Not overnight. Maybe 5am, and that's probably cos I'll be jetlagged. There are no sightseeing things in Chicago that really appeals to me, so if I happened to be in town, I'd be there. As long as I could drink in public, and had some people to drink with. Preferably with people named Jason, Carlos, Rob, Oscar, Stian, and Pin.

If there's no drinking, fuck the queue. You'll find me at the nearest pub. Except I'd have to run away cos I don't understand tipping. Pay your bar staff a decent wage, you tightarse American bar owners.

I wouldn't really care if I lost my spot queue either, as long as I'm around friends, and making new ones. Give me the choice of a plush hotel room by myself, or be surrounded by friends while sleeping on a block of concrete on the street- I'd pick the latter, any day.
