Cam Newton is a clown - he would rather look good and lose......
  • Gotta say I think they'll beat the snot outta Denver today.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.
  • I want Peyton to lose but I don't want Cam to win either. Carolina gets the win tonight!

I'll be rooting for Peyton to go out a winner but I have no issues with Cam Newton. People complaining about his style remind me of my grandfather complaining about Joe Nameth's sideburns.

Cam Newton does a lot of great things for kids, so I don't mind his dancing.

Naming your kid Chosen though? come on...

I'm really not sure what's not to like about Cam Newton. Unless you are old fart funhater.

And I'm not a panthers fan, but seriously, why all the hate? Packers fans hating on him makes me laugh the most. Leaping into the crowd is fine but damn if you smile and enjoy winning another way you are a tool. Stupid people finding reasons to hate winners, Americas pastime.

Leaping into the crowd is a tradition, and has been for years. Dancing for a long time after a touchdown is not a tradition, it's showboating. And people wouldn't care about it that much if they ever called him for it, as they make the call on every other team for doing much less.

Now again, I don't mind the dancing. The thing to not like about Cam Newton is naming his kid "Chosen"

not just the Packers do it you know. We just started it.

It's more of a celebration for the fans, not for the scorer. Everyone loves the leap here, and that's honestly the main reason tickets down there in the endzone are so expensive, everyone wants to have a player leap into their lap haha.

And it's not excessive, it's a quick little thing that once it's done it's over. A lot of times what Cam does is excessive; he doesn't stop sometimes.

People hate the Packers because they're good, and they look for other justifications for it. Same thing with the Patriots, just that it's a lot easier to justify it with them.

There was that inflate gate that everyone lost their shit about last year, when Rodgers admitted to over inflating balls before the Patriots game and other games. What nobody says is that those games were all either home games, or games in Northern states. This was because cold air is more dense than warm air (chemistry lesson for you here). The air particles are closer and don't move as quickly, meaning that there is less pressure when these particles hit a surface. So when the air in a ball cools, the pressure decreases, thus the over inflated ball is deflated to the correct PSI.

So, in conclusion, haters gonna hate.

The difference is that Cam does it all the time. If he dabbed once and we never saw it again then cool, no one would care, but it's constant. You're the QB, you're supposed to be the leader and set a good example. Stealing fan's flags and jerseys, naming your kid Chosen and wearing cleats with your personal achievements is a joke and icing on the cake as to why I can't stand him. I'm looking forward to getting to the office in the morning and hearing all the excuses.

    Here we go Steelers!
