I got my tickets for the ottawa show in the 10c draw but haven't received any emails re: details for show...am i missing something?

Check your Junk Mail folder. Might be in there, but here is what my message said. Not sure how different GA is vs reserved but should basically be the same.

"This is your final confirmation for your Ten Club GA tickets and wristbands to see Pearl Jam in Ottawa at the CTC Arena on May 8th.

Your tickets will be at Ten Club will call under the registered member name: John Smith

Ten Club Box Office Opens: 3:00pm
    Door Time: 7:00pm
    PJ Set Time: 8:00pm
    Box Office Close: 8:45pm
    All times subject to change

    1) Ten Club will call is located at the main gate which is Gate 1 (east entrance). Arrive early to pick up your tickets to avoid waiting in long lines at the box office.

    2) Tickets are filed alphabetically in order of last name. Ten Club ticket windows will have signs above dividing them up based on the alphabet. Ex. A-F, G-L, M-R, etc Please make sure you are in the line that corresponds with the first letter of your last name and have your photo ID in hand.

    3) Ten Club members must show government issued photo identification in person to collect purchased tickets. The name on the ID must match the name on the ticket envelope as indicated above. If your account was created using a nick name entirely different from your first name, or is listed under an outdated maiden name, please email tickets@tenclub.net immediately as this will cause a delay at the box office. Shortened names such as John for Jonathan, or Jen for Jennifer are fine as is.

    4) Only the Ten Club member whose name is on the membership account may pick the tickets up. You cannot send anyone else to pick tickets up for you. No exceptions.

    5) You will have two (2) GA Tickets and two (2) Ten Club wristbands in your envelope at the box office.

    6) There will not be an opener for this show.

    7) All ticket sales are final. No refunds, name transfers or exchanges. No exceptions.

    8) Reselling of your spare Ten Club ticket for above face value will result in ticket cancellation and loss of membership.

    GA Entry Rules and Etiquette-

    - All GA ticket holders must enter through the designated GA entry door.

    - GA entry door will open about 15 minutes before regular door time to ensure a safe entry.

    - The GA entry door for this show will be located at Gate 3. This door is the fastest and most direct route to the GA floor.

    - The GA pit is located on the floor directly in front of the stage, is standing room only, and is first-come-first-served.

    - You must have both a GA ticket and an Official Ten Club GA Entry wristband fastened to your wrist to enter the GA Doors. Those two items combined give you GA pit access.

    - Your guest does not have to line up at the box office with you. You will be given your two (2) tickets and two (2) Official Ten Club GA Pit wristbands. Immediately put on your wristband and pass the other to your guest to do the same. Put the tickets someplace safe. Do not lose them!

    - Removed, broken, fake or tampered with wristbands will not be honored. Lost wristbands will not be replaced, so put them on as soon as you get them. No exceptions.

    - The GA line is for members with GA tickets and wristbands only. Members with reserved seated tickets can enter from any other entrance at regular door time.

    - The GA entrance has been pre-determined, but is subject to change on the day of the show. This is unlikely to happen, but in the unlikely chance it does, you will be directed to the new entrance via signage and by venue security staff.

    - The GA line is first-come, first-served. In the past, fans have used their own fan created numbering system to save a place in line. The numbering system is no longer tolerated. We have seen fans abuse this in the past arriving early to get a number, and then leaving for long periods of time only to come back at door time and jump in the front of the line. Therefore, anyone participating in this fan created queueing system will be sent to the back of the line. It is the Ten Club’s position that those that put in the time to wait in the GA line all day should be of the first in the door. Anyone abusing this will be sent to the back of the line. Of course it is necessary to take bathroom breaks, or to jump out of line to pick up tickets at will call when the box office opens. Like any other line that you find yourself standing in for long periods of time in your life, simply have your guest hold that place in line for you temporarily, and communicate to your neighbor that you will be right back. They will ask the same in return from you because this is the right thing to do. The GA line should be a friendly community. Be neighborly and respectful and do not abuse the kindness of your fellow Ten Club members.

    - Upon entering the venue through the GA entry line, have your GA ticket in hand to be scanned. Hold your arm up showing your wristband in clear view so that security can verify your GA entry credentials and get everyone in the door as safely and efficiently as possible.

    - DO NOT RUN! Anyone that enters the venue and starts running will be stopped by security and escorted to the end of the line. We know there’s a lot of excitement and energy that builds while waiting in line, but this is a strict rule. So be safe, have fun, and DO NOT RUN!

    Safety and Security:

    - No professional cameras, which include detachable lenses.
    - No professional or non-mobile-phone video cameras.
    - No backpacks or large bags. (Please contact venue. Each venue has different policies on bags)
    - No iPads, go pros, selfie sticks or glow sticks
    - No weapons of any kind.

Please direct any ticket related questions to tickets@tenclub.net. We receive a very high volume of emails around this time, therefore you may experience delays in respond time. Your patience is appreciated.

    Enjoy the show!

Anyone looking for a pair for Ottawa? Will be good tickets, either section 114 (beside stage) or a 10c # in the low 200,000's reserved. If interested we can meet just before doors open. Heading to the show with someone on the short side and just want to see which seats offer the best chance of a view, the other set will be for sale (but either should be quite good)! Asking $200 Canadian, which is slightly below face value. Just PM me if interested. Thanks

Hello all, I am staying at the Comfort Inn in Kanata. Anyone know if its expensive to cab it from hotel to CTC? I live south of Hamilton so I have no idea about the area.

Also I have two 10c reserved seats. If I am stuck on the floor anyone willing to trade for stands if they are decent?

Right on. Know any good bars in Kanata that are open after the show? Most seem to close at 11 or 12.

  • Question for any fellow jammers in Ottawa. Going to be arriving on Saturday and want to check out some of the local record stores. Any suggestions on the best ones to hit?

  • Great thanks! Will check them out on Saturday.
One other question - is it hard to get a cab at the CTC after events? Is there a specific area outside for cabs to wait or is it a bit of a free for all?

just watch out for the surge pricing, I got hit by that once, sucked.
Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

  • Ok, thanks. I was not sure if Uber was in Ottawa or not.
If anyone knows about the cab situation after please let us know

to answer your question... yes. Did the cab thing in 2011 and waited almost 45 minutes then had to share the one I snagged with an Even Bros.

  • It's worth checking out the PJ street art on Sparks St if you get a chance. There is a cool mural of the band just in front of the CBC studios.

For those that known Sparks St, this is probably the most exciting thing to happen there in its existence ;)

If I recall correctly, if you show up early enough you're able to park for free in the venue parking lot before the attendants set up shop for the event.

Your best bet is to get into Ottawa and catch the 400-series OC transpo bus that goes to CTC. Your ticket will cover the fare to and from the arena.

Always felt like requesting a song for my uncle who passed away but never really though they got through to the band . Was really cool to see those few dedications on Thursday in Quebec.

Hope the boys bring it in Ottawa like they did in Quebec!!!!
Enjoy difference. Without it we're all boring!
