pop over the bridge to quebec and hit the casino! spend your blackjack winnings on PJ merch.
Tempers are wearing thin. Let's hope some robot doesn't kill everybody.

Advice : do NOT eat poutine BEFORE the concert. It's way better AFTER

Ron Swanson would definitely enjoy poutinefest. FYI, info about parking (and pre-buying a pass) and about bus service can be found through links at http://www.capitaltickets.ca/venue/canadian-tire-centre/.

Is tailgating allowed at the Canadian Tire Centre?

Byward Market is a great place. Specifically www.thelaff.ca

I don't think so. There are usually a lot of rent-a-cops around directing traffic and they would probably hassle you or maybe call over the real cops.

For those asking about bars near the arena--nothing within walking distance as others have said, but if you've got money to spare, you can always eat and drink at one of the pubs in the arena. I'm pretty sure they open around 4-5 on big event days.

Near the arena, in Kanata Centrum on Terry Fox Drive, there is a place called Central Bierhaus... awesome spot for beer and german sausages and burgers. After that, drive over and park for free in the Palladium Auto Park. It's a street that runs in a circle with a bunch of car dealerships. Short 5 min walk to the arena and much quicker to get out after because you are not stuck in the parking lot! I do it all the time for any event there...

Don't think there's any more details except that we should all go there haha. They said they have some drink specials and food specials and a portion of proceeds will go to the wishlist fundraiser. We are staying nearby there too and will likely head down later in the evening

Sounds like a good crew. It's not all that often that we get a Pearl Jam show here, so I hope you all have a good time. Can't help feeling a sense of pride when visitors come to town. Happy to help in any way I can. I'll be at the Saturday event too, and looking forward to seeing others there.

Anyone know when the busses stop running? It seems like bus 92 will get me to the arena but I'm not finding any info on whether I'll be able to take a day bus (the same 92) back again. Any help is much obliged!!
