    just tweet a question with the "@pearljam" and some hashtag and they will answer the ones they want, is not actually a chat is more like a Q&A format unless they have a chat option in twitter and I didn't know about it...

    I think Kelly Curtis seems like the appropriate choice given the current hot topics: tour information, releases, and even merch. All that stuff goes through the band's management before the fanclub deals with it.

    There's zero chance he is not aware of all the tour rumors so I find the timing of this "Q&A" interesting. The reality is that if everything was business as usual in terms of tour planning, we'd just get a normal announcement. The fact that we're getting the band's manager doing this on the day that was widely suspected to be the public on sale date makes me wonder if something is up. Sure, this has been done before, but it's the background of the massive rumors that makes it curious, whether they were true or not is irrelevant (because some will say it was just speculation, true or not, the fact is there is no way band management didn't take notice....it's their job to notice).
