1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th 1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California Nothing since then. I suck. 2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights 2022- Oakland Night 2 2024 Sacramento, CA
Might be some cases where I'm wrong on this, but the simpler and clearer the text and images are, the better the poster IMO. Big reason Werchter 2014 is my favourite and still makes me happy I own it. PA is another example of this
they seem to be going up every week. Monday/Tuesday.
Santiago went on sale on Wednesday the 10th. Buenos Aires on Tuesday the 16th & Porto Alegre on Monday the 22nd. All on various times of the day. I think Porto Alegre went on sale at 7pm EST that day & the first one on the 10th around 12am EST. Can't remember what time Buenos Aires went on sale.
amazing poster.in my top 5 of all times...happy i got one
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".

Here's an interesting history on this great poster from David Welker himself (from expressobeans.com): by Welkerama on Sat Nov 21, 2015 11:42 pm

I'll try to clear this up for you tempongroove. The Pearl Jam art came first. Pencil sketch then pen and ink, then the screen print. All commissioned by the band. Then as an afterthought I did a painting version for my gallery show. I thought that was a fitting progression for the piece. But rest assured that the original art was done for Pearl Jam. This was not a previously existing painting that was recycled into a gig poster. And just for the record, it's not uncommon for artists, primarily painters, to use previously existing imagery for gig posters without it being considered a derogatory thing.
