I don't think that's a possibility and it would cause a riot here and a ton of people not renewing.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

So you guys are all jumped up on having a place to stay, but no tickets? That seems backwards to me.

Doesn't cost anything to make a fully cancellable hotel reservation except for 3 minutes on the hotel's website.
    This guy gets it.

I get tickets to shows I want to go to and never have had to pay more than $200. It is not difficult to get tickets to a 20,000 seat arena show.

That said, I am someone who likes a good seat but is okay just being in the building so have had my fair share of behind the stage seats and wings all the way opposite the stage.

It's not difficult to get a hotel either.

Booking a hotel walking distance to the venue is a good decision about 30% of the time.

The Wrigley experience soured me on hotels that aren't walking distance to the venue. If I'm travelling to a show I'm staying within a mile radius of the venue from now on.

For the Wrigley show I stayed at the Days Inn Chicago, which according to Google Maps is 1.2 miles from the venue. I have to stay after standing in line for 2 days @ 6 hours each day in the merch lines that 1.2 mile walk was just about my limit so I definitely agree with your assessment.

That walk was definitley crazy  The whole area was full of all shades of drag queens! I felt bad for the people who had to walk their kids home afterwards. Not the best area to walk around in past midnight.

Luckily we didn't go through the drag queens... I forgot about those stories!
