Ink touch-up on S & D poster

Anyone have any recommendations on how to touch up an area of black ink on a scratch and dent poster that looks "washed out". Thanks

Yes. My humble recommendation is that you don't do it.
It's not easy to match the shade of color (even black) and finish (matte, semi-glossy, glossy) even for a professional.
Nine times out of ten, you'll forever ask yourself "why did I f*#@ with that - it looks like s*#@!"
At least that's been my experience...
    Good luck.

Kinda figured, thanks. It's not the worst looking error and it gives the poster some "character"

Some opinions about fixing posters were offered up here: http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/246966/question-for-poster-people

And you're exactly right about adding character to the poster :)
