This announcement can't come soon enough! I need something to look forward to! Planning how to do as many shows while spending as little $$ as possible is one of life's little joys for me!

I like the excitement of figuring out where I am going to be traveling to next year. The shows are secondary to me. A close second.

I went big and went to the England shows as a graduation present for myself last year, but other than that, haven't traveled entirely far. Easy to hit up multiple shows without crazy travel when you're from the East Coast. And makes it easy for easy travel with everything close together. I did 5 shows in 2013 for less than $100 in both busses/trains and lodging (stayed at friends houses/friends of friends houses/dorms/my college)...I don't know if I've ever been prouder
Hoping to do some more traveling this tour! Maybe a one-off weekend show. That would be pretty sweet!

I am wondering if any possible Europe dates are being reconsidered with the recent events. And as much as I wish and hope for a tour, all of this somehow seems to strange and far away right now.
You can't let terrorists win. Live music is a beautiful thing and must continue.
I for one dont think there´s gonna be a US Tour...(Sorry US folks) Either that or no european Tour.
As far as i know (i culd be wrong) the band never announced a US/EU tour at the same time.
That being said , the 2014 european tour was announced in December 2013 so if something is to be announced it´s probably the european tour in the next few weeks , after the south american tour ends.
Also usually december in the time that major festivals in europe start to announce the headliners (even though i would hate to see PJ in a festival in Portugal AGAIN! come on guys its been since 2006 that you guys come here and its NOT a festival!!!)

True dat! I had my emotions overwhelming me a bit in the last two days, but this is spot on.
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue!

Almost there in page 100!!
They wouldn't announce a Europe summer tour and then hold off on announcing a US tour that occurs in the spring before Europe. I would expect both get announced.

I kept my expenses really low for the 2013 tour as well until being hit with a $301 parking ticket in Philly . Yes, one dollar more than three hundred- they really needed that extra dollar lol.

I could see the lottery announcement mentioning that there will additional announcements regarding the band's European summer plans. They did that for Global Citizen. Stated only North American show for 2015.

Just to get this thread to 100 pages I will not agree with you and say that Europe will get announced because they'll play a festival that will want to announce PJ as a headliner. Some headliners for Werchter have been named already.

I'm curious to see the exact locations of the tour. Hoping a lot of places that they usually don't hit get some love. Even though I won't be attending the FLA swing, I hope they get at least three gigs.
