Red Rocks 0% chance MSG3 0% (when is the last time they played 3 consecutive nights?) scattered non-festival West Coast dates 75%
MSG 3 would not have to be 3 nights in a row
I'm obviously rooting for it but I do think it's highly unlikely. I'm actually surprised they're only doing 2 at MSG. I think it's time to up MSG stops to 3-4 nighters. 2 isn't nearly enough to meet the demand here.
They could probably sell out a week straight of MSG.
I think red rocks is at about a 0.01% chance of happening, and I agree with whoever said 75% chance of random west coast dates. Probably going to be 8-10 shows in west coast cities that haven't been hit in awhile

At this point after yesterday's announcement I could see anything happening..especially red rocks provided it's available around the telluride date. Telluride is small..red rocks is small..there is no worries about selling out.
I'm hoping for more outdoor Midwest dates..especially deer creek.
Maybe 2016 is the start of the band touring annually with a shit load of shows..too much lucrative touring money out there that other bands have been cashing in on for years..I don't say that in a negative way it's just business.

Add the 8/20 Wrigley date and it looks very weird. I just looked at every tour date since 2000 and they haven't had any random breaks in touring like this before. The dates are always clusters of several shows.

Exactly. There's no way they are lugging everything to Telluride, CO and not stopping elsewhere in that area of the country.

Around Bonnaroo depending upon what is in the contract I can see OKC, KC, Texas
Around Telluride and before Boston I can see Arizona, New Mexico, Vegas, Cali

I disagree with these posts. Pearl Jam is probably making as much, or more money, from Bonaroo, Colorado, Fenway and Wrigley as they would with an entire 10 or 12 show leg. Also add in the merch overload for the ball park shows.
I think they are treating these summer shows similar to 2012 where it was just a series of one-off shows.

Widespread Panic headlined both nights at Telluride last year. Pearl Jam is only playing the one night. I find that curious. Anyone know of other festivals that weekend that have not yet announced their Sunday lineup?
There are 8 more headliners still to be announced for Summerfest in Milwaukee. The dates run from 6/29-7/10. Fits in pretty well if you are heading NW towards MSP from Bonnaroo and then SW to CO. There is a lot more road to cover between stops in the Midwest so it would make sense to have every other night off.
I know this is coming out of nowhere with no reasons to believe it but... could Pearl Jam be making a stop at Alpine Valley between Roo and Telluride? The band has a lot of history there. Wrigley is 5-8 weeks away depending on when they could play. They haven't been there since PJ20 in 2011. Hmmmmmm... I know it's not going to happen but one can still dream as nothing beats PJ at Alpine Valley on a beautiful summer day. Except for maybe Red Rocks on a beautiful summer day. And a McRib.
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

It's not the money, it's the logistics. Doing one show in the middle of nowhere (no offense to locals) doesn't make a lot of sense. Anyhow, you could certainly be correct, but it just seems like this is the perfect spot in the calendar for them to add more dates.

Festivals are a lot of money and if the band doesnt have to transport the stage, provide security, etc., the logistics are a lot easier. I'm not sure if they bring their own stage setup for the ballpark shows or not.
I still think there will be midwest shows between Fenway>Wrigley and then west coast dates leading to PJ25 in Seattle.

They definitely make a ton of money off festivals, and a lot is already provided for them. I really hope they play some neighboring states. I'm torn not going one state up to Telluride but already bought Wrigley tickets, haven't heard of any of the other bands to have to purchase a two day ticket to, and let's be honest it will be a 2 hour hits heavy show (never been a fan of festivals). Great setting, I'm sure. But a 2 hour show preceded by bands I've never heard of and a long drive.

Pemberton festival (2.5 hours north of Vancouver) still has to announce. This will be the 3rd year of the revived festival, now run by HUKA Entertainment (better known for the Hangout Festival). It is the week after Ride Festival, in an equally breathtaking mountain area. Past headliners have been NIN, Outkast, Kendrick...so they would potentially have the budget.
Really hoping for this. Am doing 13 shows....Kentucky to Toronto and the ballparks. This would be an awesome hometown(ish) show before Fenway and Wrigley.
