2016 PJ25 Tour Rumors

Yeah, I'm not sure it's Lexington VA... I mean, great for those crazy ass Washington and Lee students, but seems like a reach. I do think it's a glaring omission that there's nothing rumored between Philly and Raleigh though. I agree with that point completely. I would LOVE a return to JPJ but it wouldn't surprise me if it's Verizon Center in DC. It might be a bit early for VA Beach amp. Maybe they'll just just play the 930, Norva or the National instead.hankholetsgo said:

I see absolutely no reason they wouldn't play JPJ again.0

It's acoustically fantastic, great setting, easy to get to from wherever in the VA/DC area... I'm with you all the way. I would be super pleasantly surprised. The good thing is that you don't have to worry about hockey or basketball playoffs. May is a bad season for concerts at Verizon.aspoonfulweighsaton said:I see absolutely no reason they wouldn't play JPJ again.

Jpj was amazing. Upper level in the back. Sound was amazing. Boot doesn't do that night justice. The gap between Raleigh and philly is insane for that area though haha. Unless there is a second or third night that has been able to stay under wraps. With the gap a third philly show makes most sense (no show between there and nc and the rumors is 27/28 or 28/29.) 3 nights would be amazing if they don't do a va/md stop.2012 - MIA (Philly)
2013 - Philly 1, philly 2, charlottesville,
2015 - NYC (global citizen)
2016 - Philly 1&2
2022 - Camden0 -
Your tag of "23 years old, 16 shows" is what is disappointing. I cant sit here and tell you why, but there is something about it, that unfortunately for me, I get deuce chills every time I see it. You're probably a cool dude too, but I dont know man, that tag line makes you come off dooshy. I apologize in advance for anyone that I may have offended.Weston1283 said:Another disappointing newsletter

Agreed. Good for him for hitting a bunch of shows early in life. Hell, I saw my first on in 92 at 18... but I'd love to be 23 again. Give that up in a sec.SVRDhand13 said:

Good for him! And amazing that the guys still attract devoted fans!

I'm 22 years old and fell in love with the band about 3-4 years ago. I've been listening to PJ since I was kid, but they never moved me like they do now. Went to my first show last year (Milwaukee 2014) for my 21st bday, kicking myself for not really getting into them earlier on in life. I think I'm a prime example of why the band is still so relevant today, they keep attracting die-hard listeners, even in their late 40's/50's. Good for you Weston, keep it up!Funkez said:>

Anyone have any info as to whether the Euro tour will get announced at the same time? I see Werchter has announced a couple bands already including a headliner so if it is PJ it could be happening soon.0

Here's why I don't find any validity in Ticketmaster putting up seating charts on a venue's page: the Pittsburgh TM page has seating charts at the Consol Energy Center (our hockey arena) for Justin Timberlake, Neil Diamond, James Taylor and Pearl Jam, among others. I don't think Timberlake is doing another massive tour, at least not in the near future. He was last in Pittsburgh in 2013 (a month or two after Pearl Jam). James Taylor and Neil Diamond, on the other hand, were just here. I just think TM isn't clearing out seating charts and are being lazy.
I hope I'm wrong as I would love for PJ to come back; however, I would think they'd play Cleveland or Columbus instead of Pittsburgh seeing on those two cities were not played since 2009.2000: Pittsburgh

They have never played Jacksonville memorial to my knowledge and the seating chart is there now. It's legit.inmytree1380 said:Here's why I don't find any validity in Ticketmaster putting up seating charts on a venue's page: the Pittsburgh TM page has seating charts at the Consol Energy Center (our hockey arena) for Justin Timberlake, Neil Diamond, James Taylor and Pearl Jam, among others. I'll always take a Pittsburgh show since it's so close, but yeah, I don't get why Cleveland would get skipped while Pittsburgh (and especially Buffalo) get another showinmytree1380 said:Here's why I don't find any validity in Ticketmaster putting up seating charts on a venue's page: the Pittsburgh TM page has seating charts at the Consol Energy Center (our hockey arena) for Justin Timberlake, Neil Diamond, James Taylor and Pearl Jam, among others. Skipping Cleveland would be a total travesty.. don't they know that "all the little chicks growing up on the skids go 'Cleveland Rocks'"?Weston1283 said:
