As far as Rock n Roll Hall of Fame goes, I can honestly see them going either way about it. On the one hand, considering how well Stone cares for his Grammy award, it's easy to see them not giving two shits about the RnRHOF. On the other hand, As we've seen in the last couple tours with the mentions of Andy Wood & CD/COT getting put into regular rotation, plus the re-release of the MLB vinyl - it seems like there's a bit more thought going to the band's history, so it would logically follow that they're considering the band's legacy particularly when you consider their ages. (Not that I am saying or thinking or implying that they are old and winding down - but because generally when men hit their 50s they get all wonky about their mortality and start trying to put their name on buildings and shit.)

    .

Oh I think its obvious that the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame is important to them. Eddie has already delivered 2,869 induction speeches for other HOF Inductees, performed in Jim Morrison's stead etc. He (and by extension one can assume the band) clearly holds the Hall in fairly high regard.

    This weekend we rock Portland

And EV's greatest Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame speech....ever:

Here's a question to get things back on track-

Do you think the band ever refers to 2016 as PJ25?

    No

My theory is that the only people who use the term "PJ25" are the same ones who use the the term "jamily" and refer to the band as "our boys" or "the boys".
I cant stand when people say "the boys"

Yeah, I would use PJ25, but I've never said 'jamily' before.

Still don't get the hate for Foo Fighters by many of you. Yes they aren't Pearl Jam but they are a really good band and Dave is one of the nicest dudes around. I wish PJ would do some of the cool stuff the Foo Fighters do like small club shows. Just my 2 cents.

I too, think Dave seems like a really cool, funny dude (never met him) that cares about the important stuff. However, I cant seem to get into his singing style. Seems like he is always screaming and yelling, and on most of the radio friendly songs, I get a headache by the time the bridge starts. So in short, Foo Fighters give me a headache, best way i can explain.

It sounds like Dave Grohl is
    GETTING THE BEST
    THE BEST
    THE BEST
    THE BEST OF YOUUUU!!!

Seriously, though, I agree. There was a time and place I would've liked to see Foo Fighters live but that time has passed. I can only handle about 30 seconds of any song these days. And that's being generous. I'd love to sit and have a beer with the guy though!

So know for our amusement, the over/under is November 10th for the tour announcement. Lot of action for 1st week of December. Also the History of the house shows when it states, make sure your membership is up to date in a newsletter, a tour announcement has come before the next edition.

I saw the foos a few weeks ago at acl. They sucked balls and I left after 3 songs. Never liked them and figured I'd give em a chance. Chance given. They lost.
I'm like an opening band for your mom.

Haha. I think we will hear something next week, which will immediately be overshadowed when Dave Grohl drinks a beer and breaks the internet.

Okay no more foo digs. I promise.

Wasting Light is a killer album... The HBO Documentary show Sonic Highways is awesome, can't wait for a 2nd run of those shows... and his documentary about Sound City is also extremely good

I've seen them live... pretty much what I expected

Have to agree.. I wasn't a fan of the latest Foo album until I watched Sonic Highways. Absolutely love the documentary and really understand and enjoy the songs now.

Amazing what a little background knowledge can do to a song. I went from thinking the sound was horrible, to loving the words and what they stand for.
