You really think POTUS is the highest office in the land? Is that why out of a country of 300 + million these are the best the US can do, no way sir, I seriously doubt the best and brightest enter politics...more like leeches who suck off the productivity of others.HughFreakingDillon said:I don't know how many times this has to be stated: it is a fact, in my opinion, that you simply cannot get to the highest office in the land without backroom bullshit. I am shocked that nothing about Obama has come to light. Maybe he's the exception, maybe he's just that damn good. Either way both hillary and donald are not immune. If you think he is anti establishment, you are a fool. If you think he gives a shit about you, you are a fool. If you think he wont use the presidency as a springboard to make millions afterwards, you are a fool.
Either participate in the system or dont. But dont even try to put one candidate on a an anti corruption pedestal over the other. If you do, you are a fool.
It comes down, unfortunately, in this particular election, of who you think wont put the country into the ground financially, socially, progressively, and diplomatically.
To me, without question, that person is hillary. Trump has the bigger potential to be a trainwreck. He is a massive risk that i cant believe so many are comfortable taking. With hillary, you get more of the same. With trump, you dont have a sweet clue what you are getting.I have certain rules I live by ... My First Rule ... I don't believe anything the government tells me ... George Carlin

Agree with 1-3, couple of things - first as former senator from NY we need
an NYC example, either naming a victim or applauding some of the efforts in
the City to deal with the issue like a group of mothers in Harlem or
members of the city council pushing CDC to collect data;
Also reminder that Re: Eric Garner he wasn't killed by a gun it was police
violence.
Last just flagging that one of the more high-profile cases recently
involved two police officers from the precinct right next to the Avalon
apt building a bunch of us live in, I think they were shot sitting in their

using her father as part of an anti gun campaign while speaking "ill" of her instead of making the issue about police brutality0 -
I get why your responding but again, what's the issue? Read the email chain in time sequence. The 9:48 or so email says not to use Eric garner in this context. The link provided to the article doesn't mention Eric garner. "Her" could refer to HRC not Eric Garner's wife or sister. Where is this ill will you speak of? Where's the link to the NYP op ed? Did Eric Garner get mentioned there? If so, in what context?pjalive21 said:

an NYC example, either naming a victim or applauding some of the efforts in

members of the city council pushing CDC to collect data;
Also reminder that Re: Eric Garner he wasn't killed by a gun it was police

Has anyone ever met anyone who actually likes Hillary Clinton? Several of you are voting for her, but do you actually like her? Most of the people I've met who are supporting her are mainly supporting her because of trump or because she's the left candidate.
Does this kind of explain why she can't get people to turn out for her live events?

I've liked her for a long time...and I liked her even more after she had her alien baby.tonifig8 said:Has anyone ever met anyone who actually likes Hillary Clinton? Several of you are voting for her, but do you actually like her? Most of the people I've met who are supporting her are mainly supporting her because of trump or because she's the left candidate.
Does this kind of explain why she can't get people to turn out for her live events?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkSm1Pgyy7w

Wait... First off, that's your screwed up personal opionion. The fact that she has been consistently polling so high in the negative department for over a year is reality. Second, She's getting the worst treatment because why? You honestly can't be that blind to the fact that she herself is doing this to herself. We believed, before the leaks, that she was screwed up and now with the leaks it proves it. People disliked her for being a two face politician, amongst many other reasons, and the leaks have proven that to be fact.Gern Blansten said:

Yes I like her. I know a lot of people that like her and can't get over the bullshit she is having to go through.
I've said a few times on here...she is getting worse treatment as a woman than Obama did as an African American. Unreal.
You've said it yourself several times that wasn't the best candidate. Not only that, but the fact is that you are a former BernieBro, or was that all BS? Therefore there was definitely a better option for you.
Her having attendance issues has always been the case. That was the case during the primaries. There's no need to play games here. It is what it is.

No I don't believe she is doing it to herself. Look at the fucking emails. Admit it...you expected to see some really damaging shit in there and there isn't any.
She's a politician yes....she was nominated over Bernie Sanders and one other guy. No one else wanted to go up against her.
It remains to be seen how the election will turn out but a significant win for Clinton will show you how lopsided the coverage is. She wins because of people like me. Reasonable, intelligent people that see through the bullshit that you can't see through.Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)
