    Is there a thread for people going to the Festival? I've been using search but not finding what I'm looking for. I'm going alone so hoping to find some people to stand next to for 10 hours.....sorry, not derailing, just curious....

    Was able to get another just in time. So glad there's 9 minute window to process an order. I had to find my friends email addy to complete the order.

    The tickets seem to go up so randomly, I'm actually surprised anyone is managing to catch them at the right times. What's the secret?

    There used to be a twitter account for Daily Show and Colbert tickets that would tweet whenever either went up. I wish that existed for this show.

    I'm not sure there's a secret or even a strategy. It does seem to be random and does seem to be the least available show this week. I got mine by literally checking every 5 minutes for days straight. After about 900 tries over 6 days I got in.

    1996 Letterman - 2 songs
    2000 Letterman - 1 song
    2002 Night 1 Letterman - 1 song
    2002 Night 2 Letterman - 1 song
    2004 Letterman - 1 song
    2006 Letterman - 10 songs! Yes 10 songs!
    2009 Conan - 1 song
    2011 Fallon - 3 songs
    2013 Fallon - 2 songs

    Those are all I could find, or feel like looking for at the moment. I'd love to get 5 songs Wednesday night.

    I hope that's the case, but if I was to bet, I'd say 1 song. Maybe two if we are very lucky. In any case, we will have a blast!

    The 10 songs was for a special Live on Letterman recording; there are separate tickets for those if they even happen. They rarely happen and we haven't heard of anything, so it's not happening.

    2013 Fallon they played 2 songs but it was for two separate tapings. I went to one taping and got one song (Sirens).

    Not trying to be a downer! Just want to manage everyone's expectations. You'll get one song. Anything more is a bonus and not normal.

    "Not normal" haha. Well they weren't normal in '06 for Letterman, maybe they'll not be normal Wednesday. I did read somewhere the musical guests for Colbert have been going long and playing a webcast after the show. We shall see.
