You guys need to take the blinders off and get to the heart of the problem.the community needs to check itself before the worry about the cops actions,

good for you seeing the foos.hope you enjoyed.they never disappoint

As I have pointed out many times, conflating civilian on civilian crime with police on civilian crime is a pure deflection. The civilians who commit crimes against each other are held accountable to the law, and fixing the problem is a multi-faceted and complex issue.
Police who commit crimes against civilians are not held accountable to the law, and fixing that problem is much simpler: protest and use activism to hold them accountable.

Why is this community in this situation to begin with?
You live near there.Ive driven through there. It has rampant drugs and crime, blight all around. The ride from Downtown past ferguson to the airport looks like your driving through a bombed or burned third world country.
The guy who had the gun,got what he deserved.YES he deserved a bullet when he started waiving the gun around.Shot in back ? Yep,all completely legal.

dude, i am sorry, but the stretch of highway 70 that you are referring to does not resemble a bombed out, burned out third world country. please do not bullshit the good people on here.

yes he was shot in the back. consistent with running away, when the cops here have been instructed specifically to NOT shoot people who are running away.
Hahah Dude,it gives Detroit a run for the money. Lots of buildings abandoned and boarded up.Espescially right after you leave downtown and head north. But maybe you all have clean it up since PJ last year.
But I've also stated the good stuff in other posts. The people were super nice and the food was top notch, one of the best food cities I've ever been too.And your bars stay open to the wee smalls.Oh and that fucking custard was insane.Easy city to navigate with a great history.I have no problem with STL I plan on coming back it was fun.

Oh and if a perp has a gun and is running away and an officer thinks others may be in danger due to the criminals action he most certainly can shoot him while fleeing.Supreme court has even upheld that ruling.

    Yeah.

An armed and menacing fool is running around eluding law enforcement. He's obviously not a threat to anyone. At the most... he might stop to ask someone where the best place to hide might be. I guess that's why people on here suggest to just let him get away instead of shooting him?

Police on civilian crime? If we are forced to recognize this as a problem, can you recognize criminal on police as a valid crime statistic as well?

Of course, since when isn't it? Since when can you get away with a crime against an officer?

there are more stories about cops getting gunned down everyday then the occasional TRULY innocent victim dying at the hands of law enforcement.

shit, other then Scott and Dan can you imagine getting up to go to work everyday knowing you could die at work.all the while risking your life for complete strangers.think about it.Its so easy to pass judgement when not in that situation yourself.
