Jesus Christ, Sam!!! I think that was my senior class song!!!!

Sorry, those exclamation marks aren't like me. Too much Geritol with my morning coffee, I suppose.

  • Lol, I knew that Glass Tiger comment would get me in trouble. I actually like GT and have 4 of their songs on my phone. But c'mon, you can't put them in the same league as PJ!

I wonder if anyone on the board was born when Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone) was number one!?
Another habit says it's in love with you

I think Pearl Jam could rock a cover of "Someday," myself.

Seriously? (vs. sarcastically). He was an Australian singer/entertainer who also used to paint large canvases on stage. I remember him from when I was a kid. He did the song Six White Boomers, supposedly an Australian Christmas song about Santa's sleigh being pulled by kangaroos, plus a few other hits from the 60s on. Unfortunately, like a lot of those guys, he ended up being convicted of sexual assault on minors.

Ah, the era of many "guy talking in middle of the song" R&B slow jams. That one is the most unintentionally funny.

So I just checked the UK assuming it would be the same due to the man and timing just a couple weeks after his death. Apparently he was dethroned by none other than The St. Winifred's School Choir with their hit - There's No-one Quite Like Grandma...
