The big announcement has been made!

Great to see them listed as headliner, but I'm not sure I like the idea of PJ playing alongside Beyonce, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran.

In case you hadn't noticed by the gigs I've been to, I don't live in the US so won't be going anyway.

I respect the ethical values of Global Citizen, but the variety in the crowd will be 'interesting'.

Hmm... Pearl Jam playing a concert a 10-minute walk from my apartment... decisions, decisions... ;-)

    It's a no brainer!

It's the day before my birthday and I would love to go, but I don't think it'll happen!

Can't find out what the cost difference is between the three VIP levels. Anyone?? Ticketmaster site only says Price range is $150 to $175, which seems off for three levels of VIP.

    I don't know.

Why do you care who they play alongside? Their music is going to be just as good regardless of who goes on before or after.

Heh, I'm not queuing up in a park all day. ;-) I'll pay to be guaranteed a spot in a close-ish area.

I'm in Boston as well. Just threw down on an 11:30 PM Megabus ticket. Only $5. Show is done at 10 PM so there's plenty of time to catch a ride home that same night.

Well, the festival's website says the show will "probably" start at 3pm and wrap up around 10pm. Last act probably goes on around 8pm.

He could be reffering to the fact that each artist is kinda different and that will attract a very wide audience. Kids, teens, families, college kids, and us PJers (which span all generations).

This. Also, keep in mind that Pearl Jam might not even be playing last. There's plenty out there to make us reason they will be but nothing official.

I won't be going, but I don't see why there's any need for a comment like that.
