  • Be awesome if he does play or they announce it but I’m doubtful. 2017 was awesome

If the worst thing for locals is a $50 donation to a good cause and a no-show from Vedder, it’s worth the gamble.

They pulled back on EV images over the past week, anyone seeing any hints of an appearance?

Haven't heard anything and I believe tickets are still available. If he was gonna be there they would want to get that news out to help ticket sales.

Now they're just toying with us... make the announcement and take my money! :money:
  • In the past did they announce him prior to the event?  When was it actually known he was there or playing?

It was at least a few weeks before hand, as I recall, that they announced him.

In 2015 (Chicago) and 2017 (Boston), it was a headliner announcement a few weeks or more. In 2016 (Chicago) Liz Phair headlined and he was a surprise guest, which I remember well because I realized the potential as he sang at the Cubs game (tickets were sold out by then).

Trolling us with photos that look like hints then posting the headliner from Chicago 2018... okay maybe trolling just me but still...
  • I think he'll be there.
He's in Arizona at the Cubs fantasy camp this week based on some photos I saw on social media. Seems to be in Cubs mode.

I sold my tickets to this so he will almost certainly show up now.

Hopefully it’s still a success, donated earlier this year and I’m sure like many other nonprofits they get most of their funds from events like this. If they decide to do an online auction I’ll post up the link
