    I have my share of DJ-ing friends whom I consider artists, and also have been witness to some DJ-ing that definitely was awesome and artistic. The folks who work with vinyl can be like magicians. There is a guy in Germany, and his name is DJ Koze. I have seen him "perform" one or two times and it was a blast. He mixes all kinds of stuff together and knows his shit.

    Artistic or musical talent does not only have to do with playing an instrument or singing. A good DJ uses records, songs, song snippets or even noises as an instrument and creates a totally new piece of musical art. I can dig it, even though I prefer handmade music.

    I'm not arguing. AZ sucks dude. I'm the first to say it. Not a native and will never claim it as home. In fact I got super excited as they talked to me about taking the wife and kids to palo alto for a summer and working out there to try and entice me there. They will cover all cost of living increases plus a promotion. They will even find the temporary housing for us as well and move what we need. My ticket back home is almost punched. A brother (not really but we call each other that as we are that close) went out there to go back to school at Stanford and will be right there. He will shit when I tell him if it happens. I just have to deliver high quality on a project my team is doing on a completing in September and it is good. I hate to sound cocky but I got this. This will get crushed as that is what I do. Only issue is the 15 year old will be 16 and won't want to go for the summer. My parents would happily take her (they rock) so it should all work out.

    Maybe back in the 90's limelight era. Frankie Bones used to spin alive into his songs. Blew my mind back in 96 New Year's Eve limelight (1st hit of X) and talk about lost noodles. Nowadays, I wouldn't call it shit. Just saying.
