    Awesome work everyone!
But devastating to hear that there has been another earthquake today ...
  • sheckyshecky Posts: 1,774
Well, we all know the drill by now.
The relief effort in Nepal, India and surrounding areas will need a lot more monetary support.
Right now we can all donate money to redcross.org and hopefully paypal.com will re-set up their donation site where you can choose from four different charities to send your donations.
Thank you fellow members of the Pearl Jam family for your continued kindness and generosity.

it's already been said but outstanding work to Dave, the prize donors, and those who entered. This money will surely be used and appreciated by those in Nepal who need it.

It feels good to help. Thanks again, Dave.

Oh man, just read the horrible news. I'm glad this turned out well but please don't stop giving. After today they need it even more. Very sad.

I can get down on that. I have some posters I could part ways with.
  • We may want to wait until all the prizes are drawn for this one before starting another. Doesn't look like PP has even picked yet and I think Dave said he had another fundraiser in the pipeline after this one too. I'd be on board to donate again if another one gets going though.

I'm gonna be the total asshole and say that unless someone has a really big ticket item that they are willing to donate (think PJ20 billboard poster, Klausen Easy Street, lot of unsealed PJ vinyl that's not Lightning Bolt or Backspacer), I think we should focus on closing this out, and everyone who wants to contribute some more should contribute directly to the various charities accepting donations. I think you run the risk of "raffle exhaustion" if you do another so quickly in the heels of one that was so successful and it may not yield much in return. Unless you have those big ticket items of course.

Just my 2 cents, but in no way diminishes today's devastating news.

I'm good with that. Not sure if I have anything to donate but I'm more than willing to throw some more cash down.

I think this is a valid point as well. Especially if Dave did have another one planned. I certainly wouldn't want to detract from that in anyway either.

I think it's hard when people are still antsy about this one to and seeing who else gets to pick

I just want to help. I've already donated another chunk of money to relief efforts after today's earthquake. If there's another raffle or not, I'm going to donate elsewhere if I have to. I was just trying to offer up some items (not "big ticket", but pretty cool) to help keep the momentum going. If Dave already has something else in the works, cool. I just want to help.

Sorry guys and girls. Just got internet access again. Been traveling thru AZ for vacation to Grand Canyon then to Sedona then back to Scottsdale, and my 5 yo sons birthday today. Been crazy with 2 kids, without my wife I might have jumped off the GC myself (just kidding). Anyway, thanks Dave and Jose for organizing this.
I will have to disappoint some of you by choosing the Lost Dogs LP. Thanks everyone. :peace:
