    Please keep in mind it's not done blindly or thoughtlessly - and I wouldn't even call it a clique. That's never been my thing, even as a kid...just drawn to different kinds of folks, usually with a similar core.

    So many people here whom I hold in high regard and genuinely like, yet we are able to exchange different thoughts respectfully, and perhaps, in the end, disagree in the same manner.

    Um, the term that I believe Callen or gambs coined it was "gang bang" because the said clique has ganged up on me before. This has become a constant thing, kind of like a certain clique denying reality (as in the gang bang). Wasn't that supposed to be republicans? Oh, wait…

    I think it's safe to say most of us, except the clique, would like that.
    This is getting silly. Despite what you may think you observe, many of us defend posts, not posters. Few of us unequivocally accept what even our best friends say, and I can honestly say that I don't think I've observed two members here who are 100% aligned in all opinions - friendship or not.

    A clique excludes people - everyone on here encouraged me to speak up. I haven't been active on AMT for more than a year, yet have felt welcomed with open arms from day one.

    I have agreed with you. I have disagreed with you. What I take issue with is the trolling. The baiting. The "are you getting defensive", calling people names, telling people to wake the fuck up, , labelling people, making it seem as tho everyone who disagrees with you is an ignorant dumbass. all that disrespectful bullshit.     I was kind of a hothead on here long ago, and i learned my lesson. A few time outs will do that. A few more self imposed also worked wonders.

    Just discuss the issue and stop acting like an ass. You seem very intelligent. So use it to your advantage. Youd be amazed at the discussions you can have when its respectful. People listen to people they respect. Just saying, that im not certain as to how much of that you currently have right now. We all lose our cool now and then. Just keep it the exception and not the norm.

    And, I'd say that my conservatism is more inclined toward fiscal, criminal, etc. - if that makes sense. I'm pretty liberal on the social front - believe rr is as well (but won't presume to speak on his behalf).

    And I would say the lounge is the Clique.Its hard not to feel close to fellow loungers since it's the one place on the Train that's just all about truth and openness and good vibes with genuine sincerity.An oasis from all the other noise.Its def my favorite.

    But I also think we all belong to same Clique.Of all the destinations on the interwebs,we all come here,to a rock bands web site forum.When you think about it ,it really does give us all very much in common,no matter what our differences in opinion on individual issues or conversations.
