Isn't Zantac or the equivalent a wonderful thing?

(I made absolutely wonderful sloppy joe tonight from scratch. The problem was that I put onion and green pepper in them. While that made them delicious, it also made me feel like I was going to die. 2 Zantac and while it isn't gone completely, I'd say 85% cure is good enough to be able to sleep tonight.)

I don't know that I'd say it is required, but we have it and use it. It's been humid and hot (over 90 F is hot for us) so we have had it on lately. Besides, the last two nights we had the windows opened, my husband got skunked out of the living room and was woken up by a cat/skunk fight the following night. I think it is safe to say that the cat did not win. Neither did we.

No fox howl. We live in the city. They usually aren't around here. We do have coyote in the woods, though. It's far enough away that I don't hear them.
