Haha. The vibe of it is, for sure.

Have you ever had a cold or whatnot, was somewhat OK to go back to work, but just needed that extra day and called in with the irrefutable "I think I need to take another day - don't want to pass this on to anyone else"?

Yes. Because I've always worked in small offices it actually makes sense.

Have you ever been sent home from work for being too sick?

Is awesomeness contagious? Because if so I'm super contagious.

This made me smile. Thank you for that. Awesome indeed you are. Carry on. Sprinkle that rainbow, baby!

I did not grow up with my biological father. He was busy cheating on my mother after 2 weeks of marriage. They remained together for God knows what reason and he finally left after my brother was 2. He is an alcoholic gambling cheat. I disowned him when I was 15 and had a legal name change. My step father adopted my brother and me when I was in high school.

Is your family high needs and very drama filled?

  • No, thankfully. I have had people tell me my family is "so normal it's eerie".

Are you seeing any of your extended family this weekend?

No thank god. I have to know how to for the students I teach but luckily never needed to.

Have you ever given someone a contagious disease or sickness, not just a cold and felt so responsible for them being really sick?

No, but a few years ago when the swine flu was going around, my husband caught it in a bad way. Like having to go to the ER way.

By the time he was to come home, I'd caught it. (he said I looked green)

On a happier note, have you ever listened to the Playing for Change music series?

    Sweetness.
  • JogillJogill Posts: 4,549
No, looks like I'll need to look that up!

Do you know anyone who has met the president?

  • No, but I wouldn't expect to, not being an American.

Are you in the middle of a novel at this point?

No. But if "met the president" was a form of innuendo, I'd say hell yeah!

Have you looked up stuff on Urban Dictionary lately?

Way to take the high-road answer and forthcoming question

Yeah, love the regular old book as well. Used to go through pages and words with my dad when I was a kid.

And of course support all being just in the end.

Are biases - even some - just part of nature?
  • hedonisthedonist Posts: 24,524
(and a yes to Jogill. Wish there weren't though)

Are the Aussies up and about? =)
  • Yes to the biases - we all have them, even if we don't admit it.

Yes to the Aussies being up, and all in those time zones.

  • hedonisthedonist Posts: 24,524
    I suppose...yes?

I mean yeah, they get it. Get us.

Question, yes. Not a party person.

Fuck, I need to pose a question now.

    Is "diplomatic immunity" bullshit?
  • JogillJogill Posts: 4,549
No, I think there are some valid reasons for it but the world right now has everything turned around so we seem to be questioning everything g we once had faith in

Do you believe in justifiable homicide?
