    Totally. He is so fake the way he acts like whatever someone is saying is the most mind-blowing thing he's ever heard! And how every semi-funny thing is the hardest he's ever laughed in his life. It's really kind of nauseating. The one exception to this was the Nicole Kidman interview. His songs and skits are usually funny but the interviews are the pits. It makes you wonder if he's going to act like that forever or if he's just trying to overdo everything.
    Oh, well I totally disagree. I think he is 100% genuine about how excited he is, and acts like he's "gushing" because he's legitimately so excited that he can barely contain himself, lol. That's one of the things I specifically like about him! He is giddy because he's so fucking excited to be there do what he's doing. I totally believe that. And i like spazzed out happy people a LOT. To me it demonstrates passion. :) Plus, I also always enjoy an awkward interview, if it happens to go that way, lol. It's interesting. But honestly, you guys sound like you don't watch his show much if you think with all the interviews he's done there is only one exception to it being a good one... He has done tons of really good interviews in anyone's perspective.
    Agreed with this--he seems legitimately interested in each and every guest, and truly excited about being there. He's my favorite late nite host, along with Conan.
    Come on, it's an act. No one is that amazed and blown away by anything Ryan Reynolds has to say. I was saying the Nicole Kidman interview was the exception because if Nicole Kidman was telling you she liked you and thought you were on a date with her and then wondered if you were gay, it would probably make you fall out of your chair too. At least it would to me.
    I honestly believe his enthusiasm to be authentic. he's a fanboy.

    This. And if its not he's one hell of a performer. I love Fallon. Easily my favorite now. I like his fanboy type interview. Its nice to see people loosen up and have fun rather than just being interviewed. Just in my opinion anyway.

    You can tell the difference when Dave REALLY likes something or someone. He LIKES Pearl Jam. I hope they are on before he goes away.
