    None of the above.
I prefer an indoor arena.... or is that what you meant by indoor stadium? I thought that meant an indoor football stadium....

    Yes indoor arena

I've come to prefer the intimate - no drama (I guess?), smaller group of people, hopefully not so hopped up to mess with others' experiences.

In fact, I'd apply this to any band I love.

Indoor stadium if its supposed to be an arena. Large Outdoor Venue (Gorge, Music Festival type), you should sub divide these as Im sure there is a huge difference between Amphitheatres and most festival venues.

Theater/concert hall sounds very similar to smaller indoor venue. I'd classify Benaroya Hall for instance as the former, but its a 2500 seat indoor venue which also matches your latter description. I chose theater since they likely had acoustics in mind when designing the building.

I think this was referring to indoor arena, which is what I prefer. Theater/concert hall would be cool, so long as you get tickets lol. More chances for more people to see a show at an arena, mix of GA and seating, no worries about weather, and PJ always bring it wherever they go so you know you'll be getting a great setlist!

I like outside shows. The gorge, memorial stadium in Seattle, even the poorly designed olympic park in Calgary. There's something about an outdoor show on a nice sunny day.

I've only seen PJ do a really small venue once (Commodore - Vancouver 2000). It was cool show but far from the best I've ever seen them do. I like having lots of people adding to the energy.

Alpine Valley. Enough said. Rain, Freezing Cold, Super Hot... it doesn't matter. As a Pearl Jam fan we've done them all and they rocked!
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked... in the head... with an iron boot? Of course you don't, no one does. It never happens. Sorry, Ted, that's a dumb question... skip that.

Voted indoor stadium cause that is mostly where I have seen them. Would love a small theater show, but I think that is mainly for Ed solo shows.

Madison Square Garden in the city that never sleeps. Those Borgata shows in Atlantic City were epic as well.
All the rusted signs we ignore throughout our lives,.....choosing the shiny ones instead,......
  • I really like outdoor, Randall's island was great, the bus trips were a trip, Barrie was amazing (pearl jam tickets wit a free metrocard!)...I'd also vote amphitheater as a second.

While small shows are fantastic id trade all the elitist nonsense in for 3 hours if actual music with 20000 other people.

I think I've been around too long to care about the drama with the lines and the seniority and merchandise.... Just give me the music any old place
