Anyone know off hand what shows McCready plays War Pigs at the end of Alive? I'm trying to track down specific shows he does this as I'd like to download from iTunes. The only info I've been able to find is that he usually did it in 2006. Any help is appreciated.
It was played during the closing outro of Alive in C'ville 2013. I remember because i was in the 3rd row and was counting the number of classic rock songs played at that show, either full or riff. I was making the argument before the show that PJ was torch bearers of classic rock now.
1. Baba 2. War Pigs (Alive) 3. Bring it on Home (opening rif during the encore) 4. Little Wing
I've been listening to a lot of 2003 bootlegs during my work commutes lately and I've heard it in a handful of them. not huge tags, but the riff definitely stands out in Alive.
St Paul II 2006 is the only time I remember seeing it in person.

5/20/10 MSG 1, was a few days after Dio died. I think he plays it at the end of a lot of versions of Alive.
Beavis: All my friends are brown and red? What does that mean?
Butthead: It means that his friends are like turds and that they like suck.
Beavis: Heh heh. Oh yeah. Yeah! Get those spoons out of my face before I shove them up your butt!
Butthead: Huh huh.

Drove home from work today and listened to Black Sabbath Volume 4. Great album. Sorry this doesn't pertain to this thread since War Pigs is on Masters of Reality.

He also did Over the Hills and Far Away at the same time as Bring it on Home.
Ah yes, he certainly did. If they would have actually played Bring it on Home, I would have absolutely lost it. It's one of those songs that is impossible to play too loudly. I also forgot Mother. They played that too.
So six classic rock songs, or parts of songs during the show.

Mike followed up with a Simple Man tease in Charlotte too. Was cool.
