Anyone going to catch then on their reunion tour? Imho, all of Harper's best stuff was when he was with them.

    Just picked up pit tix for the LA show yesterday morning. Can't wait! Through all of his incarnations, I believe Ben Harper is the artist I've seen the most and I'm thrilled that he's finally back with the ICs.

    Hi All - I had some trouble trying to download the Ben Harper night 1 at the Fillmore. I got nights 2 and 3 but I need help getting night 1. Apparently I'm not the only one - if you go to his site others had the same issue. Please help - thank you!

    He went to the same high school as me and spoke at the graduation ceremonies 4 years after I graduated there. His family owns a folk music shop in the downtown area of the city.

    Been to a couple of his shows at Bridges Auditorium over the years and finally visited the shop last time I was out there. Neat little place.

    I just saw them last night in Bend. Amazing is right. The band and Ben's voice sounded great. They played a new song at the end when they saw they had about 5 minutes before the 10:00 curfew. Had the rail. It's great being that close and seeing the band interact and play off their nonverbals. You can tell they sincerely enjoy playing together. Got the setlist, too!

    I really regret having to skip this show. I just couldn't afford it - I had to choose cetain shows to buy tix for and scratch others because I didn't have the money for everything I wanted to attend; this one had to be cut. It was an awful process for me. :frowning:

    Just saw them at Bumbershoot last night, great set! Apparently Jeff was in the audience, because Ben addressed him at one point. Only problem was the volume was waaaaay too LOW at this stage, especially the vocals, and it was true at that stage for the whole festival, which sucked. But other than that their set was great, and they did "Don't You Take That Attitude To Your Grave" which I haden't heard live in quite awhile. Good stuff!

    PJ Soul sorry you had to miss it, those hard music decisions suck. I know from experience. Hope the shows you do see blow your mind!
