Finally had some time to watch this....

A pause in the conversation. I don't believe in goodbyes either. We'll see you around, Jon.

Anyone know of a live stream for the final episode? I cancelled my cable a couple weeks ago :fp:

Pm me if you still need this
Thanks, but I'm good! They are streaming it live on the Comedy Central App for free with no cable provider password required. I'm downloading an emulator to my computer now. Thanks though!
I just finished watching the final show. I was disappointed when he said "this is my moment of zen." I knew the show was over. I didn't want that show to end. The show was great. I didn't watch the daily show as much as a watched David Letterman and obviously Stewart was around half the time as him, but I feel sad that he left the show. It really makes me feel old. I was 21 when he took over for Kilbourne.

Good job Jon. You did good buddy. Nothing you will ever do will be as successful as the daily show.

I didn't really start watching him until end of high school/beginning of college. By jr sophmore year of college (2010) I would catch 90% of the episodes and then probably only missed a handful since then. I thought about it while watching the Month of Zen, how he never said goodnight, always "here it is, your moment of zen." So I figured he won't say goodbye at the end of the final episode either.

I don't want the show to end either (what am I suppose to watch when I get home from work now.... :( :o:lol: ) But I think trevor will do very well. The machine he built that is the people who work on the Daily Show are really a great team, and Trevor and the correspondents will really pick it up in Jon's absence (atleast I hope haha).

I think Jon will tak e a couple years off, and then do some kind of internet show ala Sienfeld.

Am I the only one who refused to watch the last Jon Stewart ep?

Guys - if you don't watch the end, it's not over!

    President Bartlett for life!

I thought Trevor Noah was good.

I haven't watched the last Jon Stewart one yet either. Watched it tonight - was pleasantly surprised by Trevor Noah.
  • Trevor Noah is awesome. I think he's really funny and he is also intelligent and well spoken. I will have to wait until tomorrow to stream it but I can't wait.

I watched live last night and I thought it was a solid episode. Very funny and a great first episode for a new host.

I predict a 40% ratings drop after the next quarter results come out.

Solid first episode. Trevor will need a little time to make it "his" show.

Bummed he's leaving. I wonder who will replace him. I could see Samantha Bee in that job.
