And here is where it starts to get messy.
Politics and religion trying to decide over a humans free will.
    It will never work.

Of course it will. It works in plenty of places. It's not like this is a groundbreaking experiment.
With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata

    Not groundbreaking.

    Nor an experiment.

Euthanasia is legal in the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Colombia, and Luxembourg. Assisted suicide is legal in Switzerland, Germany, Japan, Albania, and in the US states of Washington, Oregon, Vermont, New Mexico, Montana and California. And, finally, in Canada.

Did you think Canada was a pioneer with this or something? They have tons if data and examples to work with. Doctor assisted suicide works very smoothly where it's legal.

No not a pioneer but I think it's great that there really is no religious red tape anymore to make it legal and functioning in our country.
All the anti abortion religious/assistied suicide folk have no quarter anymore when it comes to pp. A great step.

There is no legal euthanasia in Ireland. We only legalised divorce in 1995. There is no way we would be that progressive!!!

Fair enough - the source was wrong on that one I guess.

You can choose a ready guide in some celestial voice
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice
You can choose from phantom fears and kindness that can kill
    I will choose a path that's clear
    I will choose freewill
