I don't like Absolution Calling at all. Sounds like something Linkin Park or Crazy Town would've done 13 years ago.

I don't care for it either but I've always thought their singles were some of the worst material off their albums. I'll still check it out because their first 4 albums (starting with fungus) are all 10/10 for me but I don't have high hopes.

love incubus, top five band for me. personally find their entire catalog a little more complete than pearl jam's to be honest (really liked 'if not now, when'). complete in the sense that most of their albums are highly listenable start to finish, i don't find myself skipping around their albums like i do with a few of pearl jam's albums.

i like the new single, don't love it, but like it. love the music but i can't get into the vocals just yet. boyd can still sing his balls off but he has been hanging around with brandon o'brien a bit too much (collaborated on boyd's solo albums) and needs to dial back the cheese.

they are going on a pretty massive worldwide tour and touring the states in the fall i think. would love to seem them again if they swing by chicago.

the vault thing was a bit of a disappointment. I remember being ridiculously excited, and it was so difficult to navigate, and when you did find something, it was something I already had.

listening to HQ Live right now though.

listening to Brandon's solo record right now. Was litening to Morning View yesterday. Didn't like their "funk" style in the beginning much, their middle records really spoke to me. His voice is something that can always get me up. Love singing along to them.

He has 2 "solo" albums. The Wild Trapeze is excellent and I really enjoy the change of pace. I agree, he voice really is enjoyable to listen to. The second solo album was Sons of the Sea with Brendan O'Brien. This is more pop oriented but still fun. I saw him do a solo show after this album where he basically played most of both albums, great show.
