Has anyone received a shipping confirmation? I still haven't seen any email.

    I haven't

Check your order history. If say's shipped, you're fine. Many months back I received an email that the Vinyl 4 vinyl was shipped out. This was in early October. But Santos posted here that it was a glitch. Doubt I would receive a 2nd shipping email confirmation so I just checked my order history. Still said Warehouse. But few weeks back it changed to shipped. So all is good. :)

I emailed 10c and they said the international orders do not have tracking, therefore no shipping email. They confirmed mine shipped Jan 5 and could take up to 12 weeks........hopefully it will not be intercepted at the border like some other Seattle "deliveries"!

I can't fucking believe I paid more than $30 USD to have something take 12 weeks and not be tracked. It really pisses me off.

So, it might take till April? Wow, shocking. There has got to be another way. Mail travelled faster back in the Civil War days.

For those of us living outside the USA, we don't receive a tracking number. I know that. But anytime you buy an item that is sold over @ http://pearljam.com/goods/ (excluding Official Bootleg CDs, you will receive a shipping confirmation email from Nugs.net), you will always receive a shipping confirmation email to let you know your item has shipped out from their warehouse.

In Vancouver, still nothing. Same as Dimi, got the notice back in Dec, but then the Santos update.

I just set up a mailbox in Blaine WA for only $12/year so that I can just pay US Shipping in the future and have shorter wait times. I find it hilarious that I just custom ordered a surfboard made from scratch in Rhode Island, and it's only going to take 6 weeks to shape it by hand, ship it, and receive it, whereas these records take 5-6 months. I realize that this is technically "on schedule", but still...the waiting drives me mad.

I ordered a car from Tennessee and it's going to take less then three weeks! Anyway, first world problems I guess.

I've thought about seeing if I can do that in Port Angeles. I wonder how much mail they can store for you. Order things and every few months take the ferry over and pick them up. You sort of have to make a day trip out of it because the ferry is 90 minutes but you have to show up 60-90 mins early to clear customs.

If you're in Vancouver though, wouldn't it make more sense to see if they do that in Point Roberts? The Peace Arch crossing is getting more brutal with each passing year. I can't imagine the crossing into Point Robert's has a wait, because it doesn't really go anywhere? :)

Good thought with Point Roberts. I personally find Blaine more convenient because I can tie in the trip with something else. I have Seahawks season's tickets, snowboard at Mt. Baker, and tend to go to a few concerts in Seattle every year, so I'm usually crossing the border every month or two anyways. My wife and I have Nexus, which is absolutely fantastic. It only costs $50 for 5 years, and often it only takes 5-10 minutes to get through the border, when the lineup would otherwise take an hour or more.

As for the mailbox companies, this is my first experience, but I know that some friends have had bigger items like couches sent, and just have to pay a bit more if they need to hold it for long periods of time. Most of them seem to have tariffs online though, so I guess you can decide if that makes sense for you.

    Good luck.
