12th Man shirt: is it bad mojo for a patriots fan to buy this?

zmanzman Posts: 502
obviously im a PJ fan, but im also a huge pats fan for years. is it bad mojo for me to support this shirt/cause which is potentially kinda like going against my team?

ultimately, id like to purchase this shirt after the superbowl, since it is a pretty cool looking shirt. the best looking shirt in a while if u ask me. but i know its limited and wont be around for after the superbowl.

fellow new englanders, help me out here? thoughts?

PJ supports the Seahawks .... you'd be supporting PJ and a donation would be made - but I know nothing lol
Oh please let it rain today.

No. Purchasing this shirt in no way affects the outcome of the game. It is a t shirt.

I think I'm going to burn one to support the charity, and burn the shirt to show how much I dislike Pearl Jam sending all these emails about the Shithawks! Vedder is a BEARS fan, PJ never mentioned the shithawks for 20 years, now they are their biggest fans? SO LAME!

    Seems excessive.

LOL, I have the same dilema!!! Life long Pats fan (did live in Seattle for a year), but feel it would be bad mojo if I purchased the shirt.

However...maybe we could buy the shirt and put black tape over the 12th man flag??? Hmmm...

Quick question! I just purchased one of these shirts yesterday. How long do you think it will take for shipping?
  • pjtaperpjtaper Posts: 3,020
If it takes as long as the McCready purple vinyl did, after I was notified about shipping, it took about a month.

IF you live in Seattle or Washington State, I think you MAY have it before Superbowl weekend!!
IF you're in the Midwest (like me) or East Coast, you'll be lucky to have it by game day, but ANYTHING is possible!!
    GO SEAHAWKS!!!

They have been fans of the Seahawks, M's, and Sonics probably before they were even a band. Vedder supports his Chicago teams obviously, but there are pictures dating way back in the 90s of them at Sonics games and other sporting events around town.

You're just another typical internet loudmouth butthurt loser!

I wouldn't do it if I were a Pats fan. A better choice would probably be to send $25 to your favorite charity.

Definite bad mojo. There is no way I could wear that t shirt being a Giants fan. And the fact is you re playing the sea hawks in the super bowl! Don't do it.

Guys, a t-shirt is not going to affect if your team wins or loses the super bowl.

You don't understand the mojo then…

I bought one last year and I'm a Broncos fan… Nuff said.

Absolutely it is VERY wrong to buy this. I love PJ and I dont mind the seahawks, but I am a diehard pats fan and would NEVER buy or wear a 12th man jersey. No brainer!! Go Pats!

I can't believe anyone would even consider wearing this for a millisecond unless they were a Seahawks fan. I'm mean, come on!! [-(

Huge Seahawks fan here. Season ticket holder for 15 years, went to the Super Bowl last year, 2 Seahawks related tattoos. I know, cool story…That said why the hell would you want this if you are a Pats fan?! If the roles were reversed and it were a Pats related shirt I wouldn't be caught dead…

    I don't know anything about MOJO...I'm a Colts fan ~X(
To me this is a Pearl Jam shirt and I'm okay with the colors and design!!
I love the Space Needle graphic and bought the green/yellow version too.
The 12th man flag doesn't makes this shirt unwearable for me!!
