The only pick i ever had was one that Mike passed me and my buddy (we both got one) during a show. Seeing i don't play, i gave it to a buddy of mine who would actually put it to good use as he loves to play guitar.
Got my first pick in Moline GA - best concert experience of my life. At the end of the first set (Porch)! Stone flicked it right at me, bounced off the riot act head on my shirt and I quickly snatched it up before anyone knew what happened. White with Stone Gossard on one side and some weird figure on the other.
Dave, you guys started me on this pick chase and I am up to 4 with one on the way (1 courtesy of your generosity). I think they are:
- MR EV
- PJ40 (on the way)
- EV stars (Knievel)
- And can not think of the other 2 as at work and they are not in front of me. Will update later.
I do not have any guitar picks, People are very quick to snatch those up. I've been close a couple of times. Thank you for the chance at one. That is very nice of you.
I was at my second concert, in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on the 16th of June 2014 and it was the first time I had Pearl Jam GA tickets...! I was right in front of Mr. Mike McCready and we rocked the whole time! He threw some picks towards the crowd, but there were some people who would die to get one of those picks and so I couldn't get one.... :( So unfortunately I have 0,00 picks.... But the show was still fan-tas-tic!
I have 2, Jeff basso cleft pick and a mccready palm tree pick, wish I would've gotten into these along time ago but now it seems like it's hard to find picks so I've never gotten into collecting them, but the 2 that I have are very special to me as a very awesome forum member gave them to me, and of all the stuff I've acquired the stuff I have had given to me from other members is what I cherish the most......very grateful for them! Part luck, part camping out for lolla 07 and bonaroo 08 from about 3am the night before to be front and center lol. Winning the lottery for DC 08 to get 2nd row center didn't hurt either.
